Delicious comfort food - Edit
On our way back from the nearby tower we came to Vegan's Prague for lunch. The food was really great! We ate in the upstairs area which is a really cute attic space.

Great food, but pricier than other places - Edit
Had the eggplant lasagna, sweet potato with guac and potato goulash. All of which were great! It is a bit of the higher price point compared to other places but the building and atmosphere made up for it.

Nice restaurant. Quite pricey. - Edit
We took dinner here and the vibe is really nice; big restaurant, nice music, service, ambiance... Also, the menu is quite diverse and has lots of options. A normal dish would be 249 Chezc 'Koronas', a piece of cake would be 149 Chezc Coronas. I took a zucchini lasagne and was good and my boyfriend took a goulash and he liked it too. We really liked the food but I think you pay more than they deserve because the portions are quite small (I am used to get full when I order, so don't like to not get full and pay a lot, maybe it's just personal). Also, another detail I didn't like: I had to pay 1€ for a jar of tap water. It's nice, especially if you are around Prague castle and there are not many vegan options around, but wouldn't come here very often.

Cons: Pricey., You pay for water.

Delicious food with a great view - Edit
My zucchini lasagne was absolutely delicious, the only con was that it was gone too early 😉 My boyfriend ordered a burger and he wasn't so pleased with it, but overall the restaurant and the view from the terrace deserve the highest rate.

Overpriced because of the location - Edit
The location is great and the interior is cozy but the meals are extremely overpriced for what it is. If you want to try the real "svickova" do not have it here, it does not taste like it. Go to Waipawa for example where you can have it for a half price and bigger portion. The buddha bowl was not special either. The staff is friendly and you cannot beat the location. There is no other vegan restaurant in the area so you pay only for that.

My favourite place to eat in Prague - Edit
I really love this place, it´s nice and cozy and the food is delicious. It´s a great possibility for vegans/vegetarians to eat traditional Czech cuisine (like Svíčková or Goulash), but they serve international dishes as well. Been there with my boyfriend two times and a befriended couple and everyone was satisfied each time. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good but very expensive - Edit
Its just the centre-very nice atmosphere! We ate bruschetta (big portion and quite cheap*update*no longer in menu), some speciality of a day and a hot chocolate. Most of foods are a bit expensive but still very good. Burger not worth its price.

Very delicious food and beer. We had a veganized tradicional Czech dish, and it was so good! The place is also nice and cozy, but there aren't a lot of tables, so we had to wait a little to get a sit.

Romantic getaway - Edit
Prague is a wonderful place for a city tour. It's typically European, with a little Eastern European influence. Luckily, Prague also has a lot of vegan and vegetarian restaurants. Judging by the good reviews and the many pictures on Happy Cow, I decided to go there.
Read moreHowever, the menu has changed a lot since the first reviews. Most of the dishes seen on the photos on Happy Cow are no longer on the menu. Therefore, I took a photo of the new menu.
The waitress advised me to take the "Andy Warhol burger" and so I did. It comes with baked potatoes on the side, no salad though. The burger itself is tasty, however the patty is very soft. This means that if you bite the burger, the patty will actually "leak" out. Other than that, it was a relatively healthy and filling burger at a reasonable price.
Perhaps the best quality of "Vegans Prague" is the atmosphere. Once you climb the many, many stairs inside the building you arrive at a cosy loft. It has soft lights and small tables to enjoy a special meal with a special person.
Pros: cosy atmosphere, good food
Cons: not cheap

Traditional vegan Czech food - Edit
We ate here twice during our stay as we wanted to try some local Czech food. The goulash and another dish with dumplings were delicious, hearty “stick to you ribs” type meals which was welcomed after a day walking around Prague.

I had the Buddha Bowl for lunch and my friend the Andy Warhol burger. 😋 They have a great variation of yummy food. Downside during the summer: they have only a few tables outside. It’s pretty warm inside.

I'd be glad to come here again - Edit
This is a nice restaurant on the top floor in a historic building favourably located not far from the castle. Though somewhat pricey, it's the best option for a starving tourist looking for a quiet corner to have a rest. The interior is authentic. I was here in mid-September at about lunch time. I decided on zucchini lasagna, and it was quite OK. I did not waste much time waiting for my order. The personnel are quick, friendly, young, enthusiastic and eager to help. I remained satisfied.

Really good - Edit
Food was great, some mixes on more traditional than the usual burgers (though they had those). If its cool enough sit out on the terrace to get the amazing views. A lot of stairs to get to the restaurant but well worth it. Easy to get to after a castle visit. Takes cards.
