Disappointing service & food 😢 - Edit
I hate writing these sort of reviews but it was a really poor experience for us. We were provided with two different menus; one with just food and with food and drinks. The just food menu had black tape over quite a bit of the meals that we weren’t able to order, and the food and drinks menu we could only order drinks from, no food. Also to order, we had to write our food down on a piece of paper ourselves, which was not totally terrible but what made it worse was that we got told a few times to choose a different meal because the meal we selected wasn’t available. The food came out at different times. I ordered the Pho Chay which tasted like a generic noodle soup; nothing reminiscent of the Pho flavours. We also ordered the fried rice for a toddler which was lacklustre and had very minimal veggies. My wife ordered the Cao Lau which was not great. The crackling was stale and the dish was overall just not good. I also ordered a Thit Kho Tieu (stewed ‘meat’ in pepper sauce) and it was incredibly salty and non-edible. When I told the wait lady about this, she was dismissive and gave me some cold fried tofu to ‘even’ out the saltiness of the dish. I’m really hoping this is was an off night for them but I don’t think I’ll be willing to give it another go. Hope others have a better experience than we did.
