Great find! - Edit
A must for asian food lovers. Has a variety of dishes from different Asian cuisines, but most prominently Chinese. A must try is their black pepper seitan! Also everything from the small plates is a good choice! The restaurant has also a nice and cozy atmosphere and food comes fast (too fast even perhaps, although it’s not necessarily a bad thing), even delivery.

Love this spot - Edit
Went here for dinner and had the black pepper seitan. Very very good. It’s served with Chinese broccoli in a tasty brown sauce. Reasonable prices, too.

All time fav - Edit
This place has been one of my favorites for years. The staff are so sweet and will remember your orders if you are a regular. Always a funky, fun playlist. Great vibe. Amazing pan-Asian vegan food. I always get the Thai iced coffee, the basil ginger soy, the black pepper seitan, and / or the scallion pancakes.

Very tasty - Edit
Cosy little restaurant. Food came promptly and was delicious. Spring rolls and curry samosas to share, they were piping hot and so nice. I had a stir fry with brown rice and mango for mains, again very tasty.

Tasty food, big portions - Edit
We took 2 starters and 2 main dishes, but I must admit that it would've been enough also just with the main dishes, because the portions are really big. The food is good if you're into Asian type of kitchen. The atmosphere of the place is nice, maybe a bit too dark for my taste but in general good. The only thing that we really didn't like was the way of paying with card - usually in other places either you are asked to come with your card to the cashier or the waitress brings the terminal to the table. In this case the waitress took our card without saying anything, brought it somewhere away next to the entrance door and continued to serve guests. After a while when we got anxious about our credit card (because let's be honest - every card contains sensitive information) and asked to the same waitress about our card, she just replied that after a while we will get the card back. I don't want to sound like a crazy person but still a credit card is not cash that you can simply take away without saying anything.

A Nice Little Jewel in Brooklyn - Edit
In NYC for business and decided to find a vegan spot within walking distance. LuAnne’s was less than 1/2 a mile away from my hotel stay. I was extremely unfamiliar with the menu, but the main dishes were grouped by tastes - hot and sweet, etc. The hosted recommended main dishes due to portion sizes, which were extremely generous. I ordered the Jade Shitake Mushrooms and Kale - WINNER! I wanted to avoid soy as much as possible and this allowed me to do so. For around $14, I was able to eat like a king. I have 4 days left in NYC. I can definitely say that I’ll be making my way back to try something else.

Simple and elegant - Edit
Traveling from NJ and happened to be in the area due to an event and Happy Cow came to the rescue! This place contains beauty in their simplicity but their food spoke louder! I order the General Tso Protein which was a glazed tofu/seitan mix with a side of brown rice ❤️ and looked just like chicken which fooled my non-vegan friend. I had leftover for my husband to take to work the next day which is great! It was delicious and my husband ordered the Orange "Chicken" dish. He loved it and he is a vegan in transition. My nom-vegan friend order the House Kamibuca (sp?) and it came with a small soup and then a large salad bowl of fresh avocado, corn, kidney beans and the like. Overall a pleasant experience and hope to return next time.

Very nice change - Edit
Was looking for something interesting in Brooklyn, and found Wild Ginger on Happy Cow. The menu had a nice, eclectic variety of offerings with Korean, Japanese, and Chinese items. Some, are variations of pretty typical items (orange seitan, bi bim bap). We got fresh summer rolls with a nice combination of items (including jicama and tofu) wrapped in rice paper to be dipped in hoisin sauce. The combination was refreshing. Then we had a watercress salad with shredded beats and sprouts and a peanut sauce dressing. I think this was my favorite item --- a simple, great summer dish! Then we tried crispy vegetables wrapped in lettuce. We finished with lavender rose tea.

Great Find in Brooklyn - Edit
Beautiful little restaurant with nice outdoor seating. I got the House Bibimbap and it was AMAZING. So many different flavours, so satisfying and relatively healthy! Exactly what I needed. We also got the Pad Thai which was delicious! Their menu has an amazing variety, a plethora of vegan options! Would recommend if you're in the area.

Great food and nice atmosphere - Edit
A nice little restaurant. The menu is all vegan, and the food was delicious. I was there with two children, and they enjoyed it, too. We ordered scallion pancakes, steamed dumplings, and General Tso protein. My children were worried because the dumplings are green, but they liked them. Everything was delicious!

Great Environment, Good Eats - Edit
This place happened to be near our hotel & I was expecting a hole in the wall, but was very pleasantly surprised. It has nice & interesting dark decor & ample seating for a small place.
Read moreThe menu was extensive & we had trouble deciding what to get. I got a spinach salad which was simple but good & we got tofu skins to share, also good (though much less wholesome). For entree I got a coconut curry dish with soy medallions which was satisfying, but not spectacular. The pepper seitan dish my partner got was the same.
I stayed away from the few items with soy cheese due to other reviews (& other personal experiences in NYC) possibility of casein.
Pros: Atmosphere, Large Menu
