I wanted to like it more - Edit
I can say that the pastry was incredible. Some of the best I’ve ever had. However, the filling was honestly just not good to me. I got the cheeseburger, because sadly they were out of steak and ale, but the seitan was so rubbery and almost inedible. This was disappointing, especially for someone who has tried incredible seitan from so many places. The cheese also was not good at all. It was also too expensive

Katsu pie was great. But tiny. As are all the pies. My side of minty peas was about 20 of them, tiny. And no discernible mint either. I enjoyed it, but £9 is too much.

This was absolutely amazing. The pie was incredible we got the chicken parmigiana and the mac and cheese was also amazing. The staff were extremely friendly, it was super quick and would definitely go back.

I’ve never had a pie before so I can hardly compare it to any other pie but as my very first British pie it was a delicious experience.

I love this place! It's my favorite whenever I have a pie craving. They have very original pies, always fresh and tasty. The sides are also really impressive. Overall they have a nice variety for such a small place. You can definitely taste it's homemade. I just wish there was more indoor seating.

I got the vegan Steak and Ale pie with mash (their most popular pie). I felt a little underwhelmed by the pie but did enjoy the mashed potatoes and gravy. The "steak" was made of thick chunks of seitan but they needed more flavor. I will try a different pie next time...

I went there as a tourist wanting to try a classic British meal, so I ordered the steak and ale pie with gravy and crispy onions, and a side of fries. It didn't disappoint me! The pie was delicious and I really wish I had had the time to try other flavours. I did found the filling a little bit too salty, so if you are sensitive to salt you might want to try another flavour. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Went with a few friends and all got something different so we could try a few of the pies and sides out. These pies are not only the nicest vegan pies, but the nicest pies I’ve ever had!! Can’t wait to go back

They pies were amazing. Crispy crust, super umami, creamy filling. Mashed potatoes were nice, too. I wasn’t a fan of the mac and cheese at all. it lacked creaminess and spice. dessert was alright too.

We found Young Vegans when we were walking around Camden, which is pretty much vegan heaven! We had the sietan steak and ale pie with fries, which is better than any meat version I’ve ever had before more vegan days. Crispy pasty, loads of filling and so tasty! A must-go place for any food lover, vegan or not! 😊

Read moreThe selection of pies was great! They had so many to choose from. We picked out the Chick’n Katsu Pie, it had a mild curry sauce with Seitan Chick’n. We debated getting mash with it but we didn’t. We did get gravy and crispy onions on top though!
The pie was excellent. It was savory, comforting, and had the perfect pie crust. We couldn’t stop raving about it. Seriously the best vegan savory pies are here!

we went there in march and were very happy with our pies. we both had steak and ale with a side of minty peas and mash, which was super delicious! it‘s really nice to be able to have a vegan version of something rather traditional. they offer various vegan sweets and different menu options (one or two side dishes, including/excluding dessert and drinks). the mud pie was also great!
