Carrot Fritters

    Instructions

    Fry crushed garlic, chopped chilli, cumin seeds, and ground coriander in a little oil until aromatic.
    Combine onion and spice mix with carrot, flour, and coriander. Add water and mix well.
    Add salt to taste.
    Shape into patties and cook on the stovetop with a little oil, or use a sandwich press to cook without oil.
    Serve with hummus or your favorite dip.

    1.5 cup grated carrot
    1 onion, diced
    3 cloves garlic
    1 green chilli
    2 teaspoon cumin seeds
    2 teaspoon ground coriander
    1/2 cup chopped fresh coriander
    1 cup besan (chickpea) flour
    2/3 cup water
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    cooking oil

      Very fatty, a quick, delicious and easy side dish. Highly recommend.
