I went with my mom (not vegan) and we were both very impressed with the food and atmosphere. We tried the FRANCESINHA, ‘STEAK’ AU PAILLARD, ORANGE CRÈME BRÛLÉE, and PEANUT & CHOCOLATE TART. All were great, but the Steak Au Paillard stood out. It had some of the best (and creamiest) pasta I have had in years, and the seitan steak was incredible. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff was very kind, and the food was some of the best I’ve had in years!

Was ein sehr schönes Restaurant in bester Lage . Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und eine wahnsinnig spannende Karte. Das Essen war großartig, viele Gerichte die ich noch nicht kannte, viele veganisierte Portugiesische Küche, eine große Auswahl und wir noch alle probieren müssen. Tolle Anrichtungsweise und das Essen war großartig lecker. Absolute ganz klare Empfehlung für jeden.

Absolutely loved AO 26 Vegan Food Project. This place has such a cool courtyard vibe — tucked away, beautiful, relaxed, and one of those spots you instantly want to stay awhile. The atmosphere feels warm and lively without being too loud, and the food completely lived up to it. The sparkling sangria was so good, the main dishes were absolutely delicious, and the peanut butter chocolate pie was next level. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. Easily one of my favorite vegan spots in Lisbon and definitely worth the hype.

This was our first meal in Lisbon; we’d heard a lot about 26 and we were not disappointed. The place was packed out (luckily we’d booked). The food was based on traditional Portuguese cuisine - it was well-presented and tasty. The panda cotta dessert was delicious. We’ll definitely be back!
