Can Be (Much) Better - Edit
Hardware: 5 stars
Read moreThe restaurant is in a great part of town. The dining area, overlooking an outdoor space, feels high-end and natural. The decor is impressive.
Software: 3 stars
Unfortunately the service left something to be desired. We arrived at 5 PM, having booked a table for that time online. The maitre d seemed displeased, and noted for us that we’d need to scram by 6 PM. Our server likewise seemed bored/ displeased to have us there. (I’m sensitive to the fact that we don’t speak Portuguese, so it could have just been the effort of dealing with us… but that’s tough to reconcile with what seemed like excellent English spoken by the staff).
Food: 4 stars
The food was good- although consensus among our party was that the food at Kong and Organi were even better. The desserts were a knockout though, and 26 has by far the best wine menu.

Underwhelmed - Edit
Nice atmosphere but the food was just okay. Food didn't pack a punch. Disappointed overall. We had the cheese board, ravioli and sandwich in tomato soup.

Fully vegan restaurant offering traditional local foods - Edit
We had a decent meal, ordering the Friends Dinner, a cheese board, and the Francesinha. Everything was ok. The Friends Dinner offered a wonderful variety, but the standout for me was definitely the babaganoush—perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The cheese board was also well-curated, and the Francesinha was rich and satisfying, however it may not be for everyone. I recommend this place for a traditional Portuguese dining experience with friends. I will say it’s not the best vegan food I’ve ever had but worth the try.

Overrated - Edit
The restaurant is very cozy and pleasant. However, I think the food is overrated. Three dishes from the "Portugues starters board" are made with mushrooms with similar flavors to each other. I liked the second dish, tofu a lagaleiro, although the cabbage leaves were very hard. The desserts were nothing special. The chocolate tart with peanuts was too sugary and the crème brulée, a simple soy milk in cream, I did not smell any flavor. Most disappointing was that as soon as we finished dinner, I still had wine in my glass, we were brought the bill even though we had not asked for it. We had not been warned that after 2 hours we had to leave the table. In my opinion, we paid too much for what we received.

Fancy place fancy food - Edit
I would give this place a 4.5 stars if I could because I feel it's a bit overpriced for the amount of food you get. Having said that, I loved everything we had and the place is beautiful!

Pretty, fancy, not that impressive - Edit
Our most expensive lunch in Lisbon in the most beautiful locale was good but not great.
Read moreThe food could have been more bright and have bigger portions for the prize. Nothing quite wowed me, but everything was nice.
Only thing that was unpleasant was the cheesecake which had blue cheese flavoring and they used too much giving it a rotten taste.

Nice - Edit
Nice ambience and location. Not over priced. Limitation on items for people who do not eat mushrooms like myself as majority of the popular dishes have mushrooms.

I ordered the seitan sandwich and homemade fries thinking it was chips but was actually crisps. Overall okay not the best.

Didn’t live up to the hype - Edit
I was excited for our reservation but it was a bit disappointing for us
Read moreThe service was patchy; the welcome we were given felt a bit cold although it did improve as the place filled up
I had the ‘islander’ which lacked flavour. The presentation was great though. The desserts were the high point; we had the peanut chocolate pie and ‘daily special’ which was a banoffee pie when we were there
The place was full on a Tuesday so they’re obviously doing something right though; maybe we had an off day

A well established project - Edit
I had an overall great experience with this place. I ordered the sweet potato fries and the fried cuttlefish as a starter. The fries were good, but I was amazed by the fried fish. As a main I ordered the Tofu A Lageiro, which left me satisfied but not overwhelmed. For dessert I chose the chocolate and peanut pie, which was mouthwateringly amazing.

An absolute must if you're in Lisbon - Edit
This was the absolute best food and dining experience we had on our trip. If you want to have Portuguese food veganised, this is it. We had the starters selection with the sardines and a bifana for lunch. The location is pretty and everything is just so well made.

Cool dining experience - Edit
I enjoyed coming here, especially as my first dinner in Lisbon! My fav dishes were the fried mushroom (great consistency), the "octopus" salad (which reminded me a lot of the og I used to have in Italy) and the francesinha (great, though I would have preferred real fries and not chips)😄

Sophisticated supper with open kitchen - Edit
The menu had an array of Portuguese inspired dishes, I had the sea soup - which was unbelievably tasty, fishy, and satisfied my craving for fresh tastes of the sea. Complete with caviar! This restaurant is certainly inventive and it's great seeing vegan places packed full! A must if you are a vegan in Lisbon!

Fabulous food - Edit
Came here with my husband during a day trip of Lisbon. Came for a late lunch after 4. Ambience great. Music good. Nice to see the seitan being prepared.
Read moreHas 2 fishy starters. The octopus, really just lovely mushrooms on toast and the take on sardines on toast, the Portuguese speciality. Actually I appreciated the art in this but didn’t actually love it. Only because it was fishy. My husband really enjoyed the fish flavours but for those who don’t enjoy vegan food that pretends to be meat avoid this and stick to the Notoctopus!
Had the 2 house salads. Both delicious, zesty. Full of flavours and quite different
Desert, well I’m always taken with a crème brûlée and this take with cardamon was lovely. However the peanut and chocolate cake steals the show. I was dubious. Usually I find these things too sickly, too sweet but this was perfect. With a coffee!
Pros: Just fabulous
Cons: No outdoor seating

This is a lovely place to go for a meal especially if in a group or on date. The atmosphere on Saturday was really nice , although you may have to wait for a table as it’s busy. I only had a main but you probably need a starter and main.

Great location, nice food - Edit
This is a beautifully decorated place and we really liked the location and interior. The food was nice but not great. The Ravioli were good but were pan fried, and this wasn't exactly what I was expecting when I ordered freshly made pasta. The berry crumble was also very different, as more a granola with berry compot, and very sweet. The homemade ice cream was nice though.
