Brunchin’ - Edit
One of the best places to have a decent vegan brunch in Lagos. Although a little expensive, the quantity and quality of the food seems to make up for it. The pancakes are *chef’s kiss* ✨

Reasonable - Edit
On the surface a lot of options but a lot of egg dishes and the eggs are NOT free range. We had a burger which tasted very meaty, and a bowl . The food was rather salty

Don’t go there - Edit
Really disappointed. They removed a lot of vegan options, for example the smoothie bowls that can be seen in the pictures are not available anymore. The only „brunchy“ option now is the avocado toast which is an absolute joke since its only avocado and a little bit of crumbs for 8€… The only good thing was the service. I would recommend to go to goji lounge or sweet&temptation instead.

Juice was great. Got the “fatigue no more”. The falafel bowl with no feta was vegan & great. The avo toast was wonderful. Wish they had more vegan options

Sehr simples Gericht, nix besonderes.

Avo toast 🌱 - Edit
Today I had lunch at Abigail’s. I was hoping to get a smoothie bowl but the smoothie bowls were not on the menu anymore. I asked for the salad of the day but it was sold out. Therefore I choose the avo toast, nothing special. I was hoping for better.

Delicious vegan food, could use more vegan alternatives - Edit
The food was great, I tried the avocado smash with mushrooms and it was so delicious! The vegan brownie was one of the best I have ever had. But it would be nice to see a few more vegan alternatives, like tofu scramble and vegan cheeses. They did have vegan lattes though which was cool😄

Good café, needs more vegan options ;) - Edit
Abigail’s is a nice vegetarian café, with a couple vegan options (avocado toast and beyond burger). The portions are big and the food is good! It could be even better if it had more vegan options (tofu and vegan cheese would be great additions)😄

Vegan - Edit
Came across Abigail’s while out walking. My parents were impressed, they are not vegan. It was great to see. Great choice of food. Away with a budda bowl, looks amazing. Going to try here for a breakfast. Staff are friendly. Good choice of food and drinks.

Not vegan friendly - Edit
I believe the vegan options on the food menu are just avocado toast and you can ask for the breakfast burrito to be vegan, which I'd expect at a meat restaurant but not a veggie joint. I went with the burrito and was not impressed, wouldn't recommend it. Also pretty disappointing to have to pay for plant milk at a veggie restaurant.

Good! - Edit
First of all, it is open again. Good food, lovely staff. First time i went, I had the vegan burrito, everything was very fresh and tasty. Lunch partner also found his vegetarian burrito good. The juices were also really nice and I feel the price point is fair for the menu combo. The absolute highlight however was the vegan brownie! We had ordered one just to taste and had to order another one to take away.
Read moreOn our second time there, we still found it tasty but not as fresh as the first time. The falafel bowl was really good but the falafel didn’t feel like they had been made the first day. We still had a nice time though.

I had smashed avocado on toast today. The bread was delightfully crusty and fluffy in the middle. The team are lovely. Very kind.

Vegetarian restaurant that can turn many dishes into vegan options. I had the Immunity Backflip smoothie which was very tasty and not spicy at all (was hoping for spicy with the fireball shot but the other ingredients naturally sweetened it up). I ate the (vegetarian) burrito. It did not disappoint!

Tasty but not attentive to vegan orders - Edit
You can have vegan burrito without eggs which tastes great. Would be great to have some egg replacement like tempeh or tofu.
Read moreMy girlfriend ordered avocado toast specifying to please check it would be all vegan and while they assured us it could be done I saw the cook putting a lot of butter on the bread and had to call him out. We were lucky to notice since she's intolerant and the whole situation would have ended badly.
Cons: Be careful and make sure they don't add butter

A place worth to try - Edit
A few vegan options but many could be transformed to vegan. Juices are not the best, and pencake was a bit floury and tasteless but the burrito was pretty good. Serving is fast and staff is kind.

Abigail's - Edit
Tried Abigail's while in Portugal last week and thought it was a very lovely cafe. It seems their menu changes frequently because they did not have a lot of the food/drinks available from previous HappyCow reviews. I was particularly bummed that the beetroot latte was no longer available.

The food was not that great for the price you pay. I had better avocado toasts and cheaper. The coffee on the other hand was really good and the juice as well, but in algarve you can't go wrong with the orange juice because oranges in algarve are the best in Portugal. The staff was really friendly and the place really pretty in a narrow street in the center of lagos.

Just amazing, A MUST VISIT in Lagos!💚❤💙💛 - Edit
I had lunch here today and have to say I was blown away by how great it was. The food was magnificent, I really could not fault a thing. I had a vegan burrito which was by far and away the best burrito I've eaten in Europe - It was out of this world! I had a green juice too which was fantastic. The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, they offered my dogs water and one waitress even very kindly ran down the street to give me my cakes I'd forgotten to take away. I had a courgette and beetroot muffin which was just perfection and a date and almond bliss ball with was delicious. I cannot speak highly enough of this place, A MUST VISIT if you're in the area!

Really nice but bring enough time - Edit
Really nice breakfast spot but definitely bring some time during the weekend and make a reservation - went there twice sat & sun and waited quite long as it was really busy but was definitely worth it. Cappuccino with oatmilk is a bit small and not really frothy but they even have plantbased milk! :)
