Absolutely delicious - Edit
We had intended to go to a fully vegan Ethiopian cafe nearby but found them shut. We were disappointed, and gave up, and headed to the tube to go home. Then, much to our surprise and delight, we saw big window decals saying that this restaurant had lots of vegan options. Score! Our hungry disappointment turned into joy!
Read moreWe ordered the vegan platter so that we'd have the chance to try lots of different things. About ten different, delicious, filling dishes were piled on top of warm, soft injera. No complaints whatsoever, everything was perfect.
It was a comfortable space and the service was friendly.
Pros: Clearly Marked vegan options , The food was delicious , The servings were generous

Disappointing - Edit
I love Ethiopian food and I was really excited to eat here, but sadly the vegan platter we ordered was cold and definitely not fresh, it felt like it had just been reheated especially as it came out the kitchen only minutes after we ordered. It's a shame because I'm sure it would have been delicious if it the food had been served hot and fresh!

Friendly people, wonderful food! - Edit
We were greeted by the smells of wafting incense as we entered and knew we were in for a treat. The decor is lovely and the service is excellent. There is a Vegan Platter that has all of the vegan dishes on it plus a mushroom tibs and a soya meatball in sauce. It was such a lovely experience, great price and attentive staff. Will be back!

Mixed bag - Edit
Wasn’t thrilled they seated me right next to families and busy crowded tables, when spaced out empty tables were available… Had the vegan platter, which was half lovely, half not so much - lentil dishes were delicious, but the spinach dish was nasty (tinned spinach) and the green bean dish was so so. Also wasn’t overly thrilled by eating with my fingers even though that’s the traditional way, but just so messy and unhygienic with Covid etc… and didn’t love being smoked out by incense from the next table while eating….. gosh maybe just wasn’t in the mood! Haha.

Decent - Edit
Good food place, little bit more expensive than some other eritrian places in London (see bezas in elephant and castle). The food here is excellent though, the vegan sharing platter is great. Could definitely do with some free hummus or some spices on the side. Overall would recommend.

Adulation for Adulis! - Edit
A really fun Eritrean restaurant, with a delicious vegan sharing platter of mixed curries, salads, vegetables on injera. Great taste, maybe a little on the pricey side but a good all round evening venue.

Nicely themed restaurant with delicious food - Edit
Went here for my partner's birthday meal. Lots of vegan and veggie options including a vegan set menu. Everything comes in bowls which are then inverted onto a big tray of injeera (think giant sourdough pancake with slightly crumpety texture). The dishes were all delicious and you do not need any extra injeera!

Trying Eritrean - Edit
I'd had Ethiopean before and this seemed similar (no doubt it's very different..). There's a veggie section on the menu, but it can all be made vegan apart from the one with cottage cheese in it.
Read moreI shared a large vegan dish (see pic) with a number of different things on it. It's all served on injera (a sourdough-risen flatbread with a spongy texture). It's much more filling that it looks. And really tasty. It was a bit more expensive than a lot of vegan places (at £25 for the injera thing for two), but inside it's bordering on being upmarket (a nice African theme) so worth the money.
I liked it.
Pros: Tasty food that's a bit different, Nicely done interior
