Joust Not Quite What I Expected - Edit
I would by very much lying if I said that I didn’t go here simply because of the name of the hotel. I had visions of medieval luxury swirling around my mind, but the reality was somewhat different, and ultimately a bit lacklustre. It wasn’t just the lack of Dark Age paraphernalia that had me slightly put out, the options for the food also felt a touch lacking, there were no milk alternatives on offer, and the difference between the service of members of the waitstaff was knight (sorry!) and day. However, there were a few major positives, the foul was a decent standard and the chana masala was an excellent, spicy morning pick-me up. The best thing though was by far and away the puri; I devoured a kingly amount of those glorious fried beauties.
