So so delicious - Edit
This place was sooo good! Everything I got was delicious. Lemongrass fried rice, teriyaki chicken, teriyaki Bahn mi, Thai iced tea, and the four seasons rolls. I highly recommend.

Used to be our favorite restaurant... not so much anymore :( - Edit
My fiance and I have been going here since we started eating plant based (3 years) and we always enjoyed the food. I am sad to say that the past few times we have been disappointed. We got the teriyaki banh mi a few weeks ago, and they didn't add the faux meat, which is where most of the flavor is! Today, we got takeout and it was the most disappointing meal we've had. Everything tasted entirely different (and not in a good way). We ordered 2 of the pho with extra veggies and didn't get the extra veggies. We ordered the all chay egg rolls which were decent, but again, entirely different from the amazing flavor they normally have. We had 2 orders of Thai tea w/popping boba and it was EXTREMELY watered down and we couldn't even taste the tea. The only good part of the Thai tea was the popping boba. My fiance also had an All Chay banh mi and the bread was extremely difficult to eat; almost a chewy, rubbery texture. He didn't end up finishing his pho because it didn't taste good and his stomach really started hurting. I'm leaving a rating of 2 stars instead of 1 because they have great customer service. However, we were very disappointed about the meal and our most recent experiences. They have also increased the pricing of everything, so our meal today was almost $50 and honestly wasn't worth one cent. I hate to leave such a harsh rating, but we frequently eat here (this used to be our favorite restaurant!) and when we don't get everything we pay for and the flavor has really been lacking, I will speak up. I can honestly say that we probably won't be back for a while because it doesn't taste like love is being poured into the food, if you know what I mean. We just hope that if we do decide to come back in the future, that our experience won't be that of today's.

As always, the food is delicious. And the staff/family at Al Chay are as awesome as any group of humans could be! Support your local family owned restaurant. I'm sure they would appreciate it.

Small, Family owned! - Edit
The food is amazing and affordable. The drinks are great. Everything is vegan! As soon as we pulled up, the owners were already making conversation and making sure we were taken care of. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with flowers and inspirational quotes.

All vegan and inexpensive vegan menu. Service is lax, you serve yourself water, utensils, etc. Love the Pho, egg rolls, and anything lemongrass.

The food was outstanding. We have curry fried rice and the lemongrass tofu noodle bowl. They were also helpful in pointing out the gluten-free options on the menu.

I work with a large group of people who eat lunch out regularly and as the only vegan, I needed somewhere to go that non vegans could enjoy. It stared of with taking a few for lunch here, now everyone goes and loves it. Great tasting food, the pho is according to my non vegan buddy is amougst the best he’s had (I agree!)

It’s All Good! Loved It! - Edit
Finally went out to check this place out and I’m only sad I didn’t sooner! Pho is one of my favorites, and while a lot of places offer it vegan, I’d MUCH rather support a whole plant-based restaurant instead!
Read moreEverything we ordered was delicious, an hour after we had left I seriously wanted to go back. Service was super fast, we had food in what hardly felt like a wait. My wife ordered their Pho, I tried their Golden Noodles, both were fantastic. The All Chay rolls have to be the best “egg”rolls I’ve ever had in my life.
Strangely enough, I thought their prices were very low, I actually wouldn’t mind if they raised them. Totally would be worth it. Definitely coming back when another Pho craving comes back around
Pros: All delicious Vegan food, Tons of seating , Low prices
Cons: Parking can fill up fast

All Vegan - Edit
I love finding 100% vegan restaurants and this qualifies. But the menu items we chose turned out to be somewhat bland. The place is not clean enough for my standards—sticky table, etc.

More veggies please, preferably cooked - Edit
Our worst meal by far in SLC. We were pretty surprised how few vegetables are served with the dishes. The ones we did get were raw and unflavored. The meal was really disappointing, especially given the excellent reviews we found online.

Solid All-Veg Vietnamese Food - Edit
All Chay offers a solid menu of Vietnamese staples, including dishes that are both tofu-based and with fake meat ("chicken," "sea food," etc.) I went with the ginger tofu and the smell that came out of the kitchen when they started on my dish was amazing! Portion size was fair for the price. Highly recommended for good asian food in SLC.

Slightly overwhelming flavor - Edit
I tried this place for lunch and tried their curry rice. The food came out rather quickly but I thought that the rice had too much flavor that it was actually overwhelming to me. Maybe they accidentally added too much curry powder to my dish or something, but I struggled to finish my food. I’d still come back to give another dish a try if I’m ever in SLC again, because I could have just gone on a bad day.

Great food. We ordered their All Chay eggrolls, Phnom Penh soup, ginger tofu and teriyaki chicken. Everything was awesome! You can't go wrong here. Atmosphere is an open space with booths and tables, very comfortable. We went on a Tuesday evening and it was about half full, but there is a lot of space between patrons. You order and pay first, almost like take out. We didn't wait long for the food to come out. Super friendly as well. We ordered too much but managed to eat almost everything. It was less than $25/person. Quiet part of town in a mostly residential street. Do it.

Great food. - Edit
Just landed in Utah. We needed some food and we found this place on happy cow. It was unexpectedly yummy. We had pho, spring rolls, and eggrolls. Everything was fresh and super tasty. Customer service was really nice and the food came out quickly. The portions are generous and the price is reasonable. Totally worth it! We will come back. Someone said it was in a seedy area. Totally not true. It's in a nice older neighborhood. The restaurant was clean and food was wonderful.

Delicious Vegan Food - Edit
I stopped by on the way to the airport and was hesitant because of the seedy neighborhood. However, you can’t judge a book by its cover. I got the Lemongrass tofu noodle salad and they did it gluten free. It was AMAZING...One of the best meals I’ve ever had. There was SO much food.
