Very disappointing - Edit
It’s got a vegan menu but it’s not really food created for vegans. More like the standard menu with things left off. They only had vegan cheese for the pizza and nothing else so if order pasta or salad you have to go without.
Read moreI had the risotto but they don’t have any vegan parmesan?! It was very bland, not tasty at all.
Pizza had far too much cheese and was a sloppy mess.
Salad nice, but again no vegan feta so.
Way too expensive for what it is.
Shame as a few changes could make this a decent vegan option but extortionate prices for what you get and just a let down.
I won’t be returning.

Best vegan options in Torbay - Edit
Full vegan menu with multiple options including dessert which is rare. I had the vegan garlic bread with cheese for starter which was incredible (maybe slightly too much cheese but I guess that is preference). For the main I had the tagliatelle which was nice but i would go for something else next time if I had the choice, but the dessert surpassed my expectations and made the whole meal for me. I was served a huge slice of chocolate sponge cake with fresh fruit and it was rich, moist and probably the highlight of the meal. Overall two of us dining with one alcoholic drink each came to around £75-80 for 3 courses, so not the cheapest but I think it was worth the cost for a nice occasion.

Read moreFamily owned Italian with a separate vegan menu featuring vegan pizza and pasta dishes and a green risotto. I was lucky to get a walk-in table as they were very busy. I enjoyed my stone baked pizza even though they don't offer vegan cheese.

Amici has its own vegan menu, always a winner in my book. Very well cooked, fresh food. Brilliant service and a lovely place to sit. Very impressed. Wish I'd had room to try the pudding, maybe next time. Its a little pricey but it's worth it, as its a quality restaurant that serves really good food.

Separate vegan menu with good range of options. We had the bruschetta and vegetable siciliano for starters followed by the linguine vegetable and penne arrabiatta mains. Good flavours throughout and we were stuffed by the end.

Good food but no info on wine - Edit
The vegan menu had great choice (inc. starters and sides) but no drinks, so we asked if they could tell us which of the white wines on the main menu are vegan. The waitress went to find out but came back saying unfortunately they don't have that information. (Only the grapes were listed now menu, no brands, so you can't just look it up yourself!)

I don't think any of the desserts on the main menu were vegan, but when the waitress brought that, she did tell me, unprompted, that the special dessert (a vanilla cheesecake) was vegan.
