Cosy place, delicious food - Edit
Anne&Max was packed when we visited, but we were lucky to get a table at the window. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. There are several vegan options clearly indicated on the menu and they all sounded great, so it was hard to choose. In the end my husband opted for the lentil soup and I had the cracker with pumpkin, smoked tofu and hummus. The cracker was delicious!!! I just absolutely loved it. The soup was excellent, too. We highly recommend this place!

Friendly Venue - Edit
Went in for a decaf ice coffee and a pink glazed cake. My plan B was any type of pie in case the cake was already sold out. But low and behold! One left! Meant to be 😁. The cake frosting is a hard frosting , so I will still continue my search to find a glaced one that is similar to the nonvegan ones from the supermarket. Nevertheless, it was a nice snack.
Read moreI did double check if the vegan baked goods don't by accident contain honey (answer: they didn't 😃). The reason why I wanted to double check, is because I saw some beverages on the overarching website labeled as vegan. I myself don't perceive honey as vegan, emailed the company about the website what their stance on it is or in case it's a mistake that it would be nice if they change it.
At this Anne&Max venue (it's a chain) the waiter was also quite surprised to find out about the honey vegan label. He checked all vegan baked goods and assured me they dont use honey in the food they sell. In case you're also like me; checking the menu before going somewhere, it will save you time to try to figure out the honey question 😁
I enjoyed chilling there with my book on one of the soft surfaced wall benches. I will go here again but instead of having a snack I would then opt for lunch or even breakfast. And probably have some 'what to choose'-stress because of the amount of options!
UPDATE: I did have lunch here, together with my current ex. We both enjoyed it very much. Still 4 stars! Next time, I will probably eat their vegan pie option(s) 😃
