This is the perfect place if you're looking for delicious vegan and authentic mexican options for very reasonable prices. The waiters were friendly and prepared everything very fresh. The atmosphere in the backyard was very cute and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Heerlijk eten. We zijn hier meerdere keren naar toe gegaan tijdens onze dagen op Holbox. De smoothie bowls en hamburgers zijn echt top. Vers gemaakt en erg vriendelijk personeel.

Vinimos a este restaurante por las reseñas y queriendo comer algo liviano. Ordenamos el plato de frutas, que viene super completo (banana, mango, manzana, papaya, melon y unos higos en almibar muy ricos) viene con granola, el jarabe de maple que traen aparte no es de muy buena calidad. Pero super variado el plato y bien presentado. Tambien ordenamos un bowl vegano, en mi opinion es raro cuando mezclan tantos ingredientes en un bowl, diferentes tipos de proteina (frijoles negros, lentejas, alubias mas el hummus de garbanzo) lo hace un poco pesado.

They had a variety of dishes, typical mexican dishes, burgers and breakfast, so you can go there several times during your stay in Holbox without getting bored

Really great little restaurant off the main track. I had the quesadillas which were delicious and my boyfriend had the enchiladas which he enjoyed. The juices were good too. The prices were good and the portions huge! Good fresh food! Recommend

We went to Arte Sano pretty much every day we were on Holbox. The food is absolutely delicious, staff are friendly and it's a nice cute space that doesn't get too busy. Good sized portions too that kept us full for a while!

I tried to go here for breakfast but it was shut even though it was meant to be open. Then later I visited for dinner with a meat-eating friend in the hope to convince her vegan places were great, but unfortunately it didn’t go well. The staff were very friendly, but everything took far too long, even though at first we were the only people in there. The food was nice, but not mind blowing and they got our order wrong, so we ended up with a dish we really didn’t want. I so wanted to love it, but the chef was just chatting to the other staff most of the time and apparently not doing anything at all even though we had ordered several dishes. I was so sad not to show my friend a top notch vegan food experience (of which I’ve had plenty in Mexico!)

This is one of the best vegan places to eat we found in Mexico! The Mole is the best sauce I’ve had in a long, long time! It’s only small and service is a little slow but who cares when the food that turns up taste that good! We are here 3 times in a week on Isla Holbox.. so, so good!

The menu is almost 100% adaptable to vegan, including the pancakes I ate this morning. My wife didn’t think they were fluffy enough so I helped her eat hers. Fine with me. I like a dense cake. I think they were oat flour, ir more protein. Not athlete-level protein, but headed in the right direction. We also ate burgers (lentil & chickpea) at this location last night. We will return for more today or tomorrow morning. Solid.

I love the food here so much, the portions are big and the selection is good. There is a nice nice mix between Mexican style dishes or just a burger and fries if you want that too but they are all made exceptionally well.
Read moreThere are plenty of Vegan options on their own or just by taking out the queso or having a lettuce wrap with a burger instead of a bun. The food is fresh to order which always makes it taste better too.
This is a definite must stop spot if you are on Holbox. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is so welcoming, there’s a really cute garden out back or tables in front to see some action of passers-by; it really is worth going and eating and enjoying the delicious food and drinks that they have.
You’ll be sorry if you don’t go.

Super yummy food with plenty of vegan options. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was very warm and relaxed, which we liked a lot. We went there twice (lunch and dinner) and always got delicious and healthy meals. Highly recommended!
