Delicious soba, charming atmosphere - Edit
We were really eager to visit this place, and it was exactly what we had hoped for – and more! The soba (regular and curry) is wonderful and the tempura on top a tasty twist. The owner was really friendly and fun as well. We could have sat there all night long slurping our soba, listening to chill music, and chatting.

Amazing soba and drinks - Edit
Very fancy place with great food and drinks! It’s a small garage like restaurant and the owner is chatty and charming. If you come alone, he might also pair you with another single to encourage exchange, very sweet. He does take his time cooking though, so please don’t come in a rush.

Forgot one thing: the Bavarian Creme doesn’t taste like Bavarian Creme so don’t have expectations here (I’m from Bavaria haha)

Rare vegan soba - Edit
I really enjoyed my lunch here last week, it’s so rare to be able to have veg friendly soba and tempura. The broth was delicious and the noodles had the perfect amount of bite for me. Really nice owner too😄

Really special place - Edit
I come often because this place is like no other. The food is consistently delicious and high quality, the owner is warm and genuinely cool, and the vinyl selection adds to the atmosphere. But what makes this place truly unique is that you feel welcomed and at home from the moment you step inside.

A Sophisticated bowl after vintage shopping - Edit
Shimokitazawa is famous vintage shop area. I heard great reputation as worlds coolest area.
Read moreAfter shopping in Shimokitazawa, I came to this small soba shop.
The soba felt like something traditional and well-worn in a good way —
simple, gentle, and comforting, like Japanese vintage itself.
The clean broth, smooth noodles, and calm atmosphere made a peaceful break.
I would like to visit again.

Lovely place to eat - Edit
Very out of the way but visited due to the reviews. Was very nice food and fairly priced for the area and type of food. We got the standard broth but they had a curry one too. They also have a cold option. The vegan “egg” is very fine tofu. The man was very nice and explained the menu. It is very small but we got there as it opened and walked straight in. There’s about 3 tables/7 seats.
Read moreThere’s also a toilet in the far door that looks like a cupboard and the hand soap is also a vegan product. Would recommend if you’re looking for a good soba. Card is okay too.

Delicious soba - Edit
I was dying to try this place, and it was so worth it, the restaurant is quite small, but we did not have to wait, since we got there early. The Soba was amazing, definitely one of the best I tried in Japan. There was a DJ playing, that was nice and you still can talk easily.

Incredible Experience! - Edit
Went here about an hour before close and it was divine! The owner was wonderful and super helpful. The food was made to order and took a bit, but that just gave us a chance to drink some really tasty sake and chat! The owner’s friend was also there and everyone was so friendly; it was great talking with them.
Read moreThis soba place had an incredible atmosphere and really invited conversation with guests. The tempura soba was also great! I actually do not like nori, so I should have specified that, but that was my mistake haha. The tempura was super crispy and the noodles were cooked perfectly! Generous portions as well— I felt bad because I couldn’t finish it.
Also, the location was awesome. It’s kind of tucked away in a neighborhood, which made for a nice walk. Highly recommend!

Had a delicious hot curry soba with yuba "egg" and tempura. It was so tasty and I highly recommend checking this place out when in Tokyo. It's a must :)
Read moreThe owner is very transparent about open hours and timings on social media (instagram) and seems to update specific hours on Google. It has been very hard to find good vegan food open late in Tokyo and he happened to be open until 11 pm the specific night I went. Vibe - Edit
This place is such a cool little hole in the wall. The owner was lovely and a one man show. He was helpful with the menu and managed to the flow of customers sorted relatively quickly. The soba was next level. So much flavour. The best tempura I have ever had. There a table in the back, one out the front and then standing bar space. Don’t skip this place!
