Pros: Nice and smiling employees , Fast and efficient, Close at 7pm which is later than most restaurants

The yuba curry was absolutely the best vegan curry I've ever had, and the gyoza were excellent. Wish I could eat here every day.

There were two vegan dishes marked on the menu: the Curry and Gyoza.
Read moreWe also ordered the raw Yuba sidedish by itself and Yuba Nuggets, as staff confirmed there's no meat used in the Nuggets (and Karaage.)
It was so delicious and I really recommend coming here when in Nikko!

This is one of the only restaurants open past 6pm, and it also happened to have vegan options. Because of this, there was a bit of a wait. I had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes. But it was worth it! I got the gyoza and yuba curry. Both were outstanding! I’m so glad I got to try yuba when I was there. Would recommend!

As per others reviews, the vegan options are the yuba curry and the yuba vegan gyoza; they both are labelled vegan on the menu.
Read moreThey tasted alright (I particularly enjoyed the chewiness of something in the curry, not sure what it was), wasn't amazing but as the options in Nikko are limited, this was pretty convenient.
It's a bit on the pricey side.
Please note that I have been in Nikko for 3 days, and on Thursday and Friday the place was closed; I only found it open today on a Saturday.
It seems that the opening times both on Happy Cow and on Google might be wrong, so careful with your planning.
Cash only.

In this place they have one of the typical foods in Nikko called Yuba, it's skin tofu, the texture is pretty good!
