really tasty dosas - Edit
came here after a long day of travelling which maybe wasn’t the best idea as it was very hectic and busy and had to wait a while to find a table. have to order at the counter and then they bring over your food which is pretty efficient. cutlery on the side and a sink to wash your hands if you eat the dosa the proper way ! very tasty and full of locals which is always a good sign as you know you are about to have a really authentic tasty meal. also so cheap.

Tasty but the place looks dirty :( - Edit
I must admit that the food tastes good. I went there three times and each time I had a masala dosa (with potatoes). They also give three sides with the dosa. But the place looks really dirty and not hygienic. I think it does need some renovation, though it is always crowded. The staff is friendly.

Double Dose Of Dosa - Edit
We were staying less than 5 minutes from this place, I saw it from across the street and then went in the wrong place as there is another vegetarian dosa place 2 doors down. So instead of lunch we came here for dinner, the guy who took our order told us which ones were vegan so I had the onion dosa and my girlfriend had the masala dosa, both were fresh and delicious.

The best breakfast, lunch, dinner, whenever! - Edit
We are here for multiple meals, and everything was amazing. We tried dosa at a different place and immediately regretted it, theres nothing like this place. Favorites are the various dosas, and the ginger tea.

So happy I found this place - Edit
I was in Kandy for 3 nights and I ate here every single day. The Masala Dosa is to die for, the masala chai tea (not vegan) is amazing, there’s a great selection of juices, and the staff are lovely. Oh, and it’s SO cheap. You must eat here!

Delicious Dosas, Bonda and Vada! - Edit
This place makes the most delicious masala dosas, with sides of curry (chickpea and dahl) and coconut chutney. They have a real kick of spice to them, which after months of restaurants in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka toning down the spice for us is so welcome!
Read moreWe visited three times and, finally on our last visit, we got to taste the bonda (potato ball fried in a light batter) - it was worth the wait. The Dhall Vada are also great - lentil fritters.
The people working here are so incredibly friendly, plus they understand what vegans will and will not eat, which is a huge bonus (particularly the women working at the order counter).
We’re coming back to Kandy in January, and we’ll definitely be heading back here for more tasty food!
Pros: Loads of vegan-friendly options, Lovely people, Great value for money
Cons: Not 100% vegan

Great food, cheapest we had in Sri Lanka. - Edit
Cheap but the taste is amazing. Don't come here for the pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant but for the food. Had some talks with the owner of the place, he seemed like a very kind man. The food is amazing too, some of the best curry's we had in Sri Lanka.

Ate here every night! - Edit
We ate here a lot over our 3 days in Kandy. The food was so good and so cheap! The place is full of locals and makes for a great Sri Lankan experience. Some of the best dosas we had - and we’ve been to India too! Really recommend the Masala dosa and the plain dosa as well as the thali. Mostly vegan and the menu lists the ingredients so you can see which meals contain butter. The plain dosa comes with butter on top but just ask without they are very accommodating.

Good food, price, service - Edit
I got a very light dinner there tonight. It was one of the sets on their menu for 160 rupees. Also a vanilla milkshake. Food was good, and service was extra friendly. I noticed it was packed at lunchtime. Great English menu! No guessing what you're getting!

Delicious and cheap! - Edit
We came for breakfast and lunch in one day, had the Masala Dosa and Poori Set, both were absolutely delicious! There’s a lot of local people and a couple of tourists. The place is organised, clean and friendly. Features a fresh juice station and a place to wash your hands. There’s an upstairs area reserved for the lunch specials (choice of ‘rice and curry’ or thali). Would 100% recommend and return.
