the interior is a bit cringy but nice and clean
no gender neutral bathrooms, the men's toilet had a wrong seat so the cover didn't stay opened and rested on your back....

We came for brunch but let ourselves be talked into trying one of the lunch dishes that were already available from 11 - and it turned out to be a great decision! We didn’t really know what to expect, since we had never heard of prívarok before (it’s not something we cook in Czechia 😅). But it was delicious! Thank you very much for the lovely meal and friendly service.

Balans Brunch Bar - Edit
Just arrived in Bratislava from Berlin thinking I had already found the vegan mecca of europe. My first meal in Bratislava was the 'Classic open sandwich' from Balans and it has to be THE best vegan breakfast and one of the tastiest meals I've had on this trip. Tofu scramble, vegan bacon, pepper oil, mayo and microgreens on their homemade spelt toast. Absolutely delicious, and enough protein that you feel full and contented, which is often something I struggle with eating breakfast out as a vegan. The Staff were also super lovely and helpful. I'll definitely be going back to try the Ufo burger and as many other items as I can.

po našej veľkej spokojnosti s Balans Bistro sme sa rozhodli navštíviť aj Balans Brunch Bar. Odchádzame odtiaľto ešte spokojnejší ako sme čakali.

Obsluha tu je veľmi milá, mladý muž, ktorý nás obslúžil nám trpezlivo vysvetlil menü a oboznámil nás aj s aktuálnymi špecialitami. Výber je tu veľmi dobrý, nie je ani príliš veľa a ani málo položiek. Vedeli sme si tu vybrať aj s intoleranciou na lepok. Dali sme si "rybičkový" Pink sandwich a English breakfast. Najedli sme z jedla do sýta, porcie sú tu na bratislavské pomery štedré. Jedlo bolo chutné, ani sme ho nestihli odfotiť!
Ďakujeme, určite sa ešte radi vrátime.

Lovely place for breakfast or brunch - Edit
One of the best in Bratislava, definitely recommend trying. They have lovely selection of savory and sweet. Take-out is possible. The staff is very nice, the food was great, we enjoyed it a lot. Will be coming back for sure.
