Would Not Visit Unless With Omni Friends or Family - Edit
This upscale diner does a bustling business in downtown Madison. If you plan to visit on a weekend, I recommend calling in advance to make a reservation to avoid a long wait for an open table.
Read moreMany menu items contain meat. Items that are vegan or vegetarian or can be modified to be vegan or vegetarian are marked on the menu. Be advised that the menu contains one or two typos. (Contrary to the menu buttermilk pancakes cannot be made vegan upon request.)
The flavor of the food is not great. Many items (such as the bread for sourdough toast and the vegan sausages) are clearly made from low-quality packaged frozen foods.
On the positive side, wait staff are extremely pleasant and helpful despite their stressful work environment.
Overall, I would only recommend this venue as a compromise option for a group that contains both vegans and omnivores who want a venue that serves both meat and vegan meals.

Multiple vegan options for breakfast - Edit
I got the vegan breakfast burrito and came back and got the vegan breakfast plate. Both were good, and it was nice to have clearly labeled vegan options.

I have been here once. The food was pricey and not very good. It was bland and not very much food for the price. It was also very loud and crowded for the weekend. Maybe it was a bad day?
