Thrilled they have options

Vegan chili, dogs, and burger patties all available. They’re not mind blowing but I’m always psyched to have another airport option

Disappointed

Had the Rice Bowl with Veg chili. It was slightly warm at best and was very bland. Large chili is about the size of a small side soup so I went with rice bowl.

My first negative review on Happy Cow but would not recommend

Pros: Well it is open

Cons: Lack flavor, Cold but not worth asking to heat it up

Crispy fries, great chili

Cheaper than I expected for an airport. They have vegan options, just remember to ask for no mayo/no cheese on the veggie burger. Their site has more info on what to expect.

You can choose a beyond or impossible patty for the Veggie burger. You can also ask them to put vegan chili in it, so if you wanna buy the chili separately remember to specify that. Because the guy misunderstood me and put the chili in the burger lmao. It tasted great so I’m not mad.

The fries were crispy and delicious. I also didn’t buy a drink, but they gave me a small plastic cup to fill up anyway?? Cool!

The map on Happy Cow is inaccurate. Please look at the actual airport’s maps unless you wanna be walking all over the place like I was lol. The open/close times on here are also inaccurate. Happy Cow said they were closed, but they were open and bustling.

Keep your receipt and check the number, they’ll call it out when your food is ready.

Great Vegan Options at the Airport

Choice of Beyond or Impossible Burgers, veggie chili & veggie dogs. Same price I’ve paid for BK at the airport & better food.

Pros: Vegan Options

Great vegan airport option

Had some time to kill before a late Sunday night flight and Ben's was one of the few places open. Imagine our delight when we saw a huge veg section on the menu. There's more clarity online to which items are vegan but we decided on a chili dog and an impossible sub. We modified both to be vegan (remove mayo, no cheese) and also got them with chili on top because why not?? Added a fry/drink combo and the total was less than $30 which I consider pretty affordable for airport food.

Food came out fresh and I did notice the cooks using a separate area of the grill for the impossible patties which was a nice touch. Definitely not the cleanest food to eat but that’s what you get when you add the chili! Flavors were great and the portions were impressive, especially liked that the drinks were free refills and self serve. The lemonade was tasty and we were able to take our time, eat, sip, and watch Sunday night football.

Highly recommend to everyone traveling through, just be prepared to grab some extra napkins especially if you’re planning on taking food to go!

Pros: Hearty vegan options, tasty drinks, Open late to chow down before a red eye

Cons: Would be messy if you took it to go

Long time African American owned restaurant from DC.

Located in Ronald Reagen National Airport.

Pros: The chili is good but is spicy but not hot.

Cons: No free parking in and around the airport.

Good impossible burger

Decent beyond/impossible burger, just ask for no mayo. Veggie chili is also vegan and tastes good too. Beware of shared grill.
