Nice option but could be better - Edit
I found this really confusing to begin and went in a couple times to find not much salad so didn’t get. Finally went back and there was loads of options. They explained that it’s done by weight so you take a bowl and fill it and then they weigh it. The salads were nice and a mix of hot and cold but not amazing.

Meh. Self serve salad and hot plates. No. - Edit
Like Cornucopia. Flavors piled on top of each other. Feels like 1970s vegetarian food. It just isn't great.

Great lunch option - Edit
I saw they had a special of two salads with a hot savoury option for €10. They had a salad bowl packed or I could have chosen my own but I went with the one already packed and chose to order a tofu and pumpkin pizza. They heated this up for me. Despite it being very cold in Dublin today, I sat outside (no inside seating). The salad flavours worked well (loved the crunch of the nuts) and I really enjoyed the tofu and pumpkin pizza. Nice service and nice filter coffee too

Tasty vegan options - Edit
Not a huge range but the options there are varied and very tasty, such as creamy potato salads, and sprouted salads, and they have 4 different homemade burgers to have with them such as quinoa and black bean, or red lentil and chickpea - all with great sauces on top

Good tofu spring roll, good butternut squash pasty - Edit
Blazing salads seems like a nice place. Good vegan options that are clearly signed. I literally went in there and I can say with my hand on my heart that the tofu spring roll and the butternut squash past were excellent - especially the latter. The rest looked really good.
Read moreUpdate 2022. Came back some years later. I had a soup. I felt a bit hurried in my choices and the staff were a bit short and rushy. Not sure if I'd go back. Got a coffee over the road.

The best salad - Edit
Great vegan options. For €10 we got 2 salads with a burger or spring roll. Not just your ordinary lettuce/cucumber combo, but really tasty flavoursome options. They also had pre-made mixes. Lots of seating outside too.

Good cop, bad cop - Edit
Great selection of foods, hot and cold, a variety of prices and portions to suit everyone. The service though is hit and miss and after speaking to some friends, I found out I'm not the only one with this experience.
Read moreI haven't gone in for quite a while and decided to return today. While queuing, was told to go up to the counter, although there were already two people there so I stood back on the floor guided space (social distancing) until they left. Not sure why you would ask a customer to break the C19 guidance.
Then I asked if they do coffee, the friendly staff member serving me answered, but I didn't hear her properly because of the mask and as she was also moving around doing things while speaking. All I heard was 'yes', so I asked for a cappuccino and the second staff member (manager, presumably) abruptly intervened with 'across the road! we don't do cappuccinos here, only americanos'. There was absolutely no need to be so abrupt and hostile, and also to interrupt her colleague with whom I was speaking was very inappropriate. The helpful staff member offered to put some milk in my americano, which was perfect.
Left feeling a bit dazed and confused! Every interaction with the manager was unpleasant while on the other side I had a really friendly staff member. It was like good cop, bad cop.
Pros: Variety, Range of priced and portions
Cons: The service

Beautiful - Edit
I loved the Butternut squash "pizza", and even though it was very tasty they shouldn't label it pizza. The tofu spring rolls with the ginger dip is also so good.
Read moreThe desserts are disappointing.
P.s.: every single one of my four encounters with the manager/owner were disappointing to say the least. I felt she was very rude and hostile.

Their food is also delicious here, but should really covert their upstairs area for customer seating. Not being able to sit anywhere is a real dealbreaker for a lot of people.
