The perfect Italian dining experience

Blu Seoul is pure cozy magic. The vibe is warm and homie, the lighting is just right, and there’s great jazz humming in the background like the room’s heartbeat. The food? I still can’t believe any of it was vegan. The aglio e olio pasta was decadent and silky, garlic-kissed and perfectly salty. The lasagna was unbelievably rich and umami—layered, saucy, and downright luxurious. Then that banana bread landed on the table warm and fragrant. A perfect finish.

If I worked for Michelin, I’d star them up ASAP. On top of the food, the service was lovely. The man and woman running the place were kind, generous, and genuinely happy to share what they’ve created. You feel taken care of here.

Whether you’re vegan or just here for exceptional food in a chill, glowing space, Blu Seoul is a must. I’m already planning my return.

Good food and good cocktails

I took the lasagna which was pretty good but careful it's a bit spicy if you're not used to. The peach highball was very good

Amazing

The venue is intimate and delightful. Great music and fun atmosphere

I had the pleasure of enjoying the garlic risotto and it was phenomenal. I ate it very quickly for how much I enjoyed it

Prepared fresh and served with lovely delicious drinks, and you can even enjoy a bottle of wine if you like, or kombucha.

I definitely recommend this little stop, if you can grab a seat :)

Pros: Good size portion, Atmosphere, Delicious

Hip Wine Bar & Fantastic Food

Tucked away in some backstreet, you can find this little hole in the wall. It is a compact space with only a few tables, but plenty of character! It has very ecclectic and upbeat vibe, well suited for a wine bar and pleasant enough for lunch!

Food and drinks are great! Well worth the effort, and wonderful service.

It is worth noting the whole menu is not gluten-free, but there are options.

Cute little restaurant

The people running this little restaurant are fabulous, as is the food. This was my first taste of the Korean vegan experience and it was great.

The mayo was just perfect, not too hot but very tasty.

The pasta too had the right amount of garlic to give it a lovely flavour

Pros: Lovely owners, Great food

Cons: Not many seats

Great food and atmosphere

Walked in around 9:30 PM and was immediately seated. You are required to order a drink during dinner, but there are plenty of non-alcoholic options along with the extensive wine list.

I ordered a hibiscus iced tea and my partner had a N/A peach highball which were both wonderful and refreshing. We then got our main courses- chili oil pasta and aglio e olio, which were both absolutely delicious. After finishing my chili oil pasta, I spent time eating the leftover sauce with a spoon until it was gone.

This is an awesome vegan spot in Seoul that I highly recommend if you are interested in some Italian-influenced food. I look forward to returning!

Also, the vibe and music inside were awesome.

Sooooo good

Blu Seoul is a vibey little wine bar with great food tucked away in an alley near euljiro station. Small menu but food was amazing! They made some of it in a small toaster oven - crazy.

Dont sleep on the hummus and veggies - they are crazy good. We also had the lasagne (yum!) and the banana bread which was the perfect little end cap to a great meal.

A Hidden Vegan Gem in Seoul

If you’re looking for a hidden vegan gem in Seoul with a cozy, laid-back atmosphere, BLU SEOUL is an absolute must-visit. My daughter and I came here on our very first evening in Seoul, and it couldn’t have been a better start to our trip.

Even though we arrived just before closing, the owners welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we instantly felt at home. We had the lasagna and the white sauce pasta, and both were absolutely incredible.. rich in umami and beautifully balanced. Without a doubt, it was some of the finest vegan food I’ve ever had.

We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend BLU SEOUL to anyone visiting Seoul!

Sweet local eatery

This place is small and local, situated down a back street. It has a tempting but limited menu of food, with a broad range of alcohol.

Amazing vegan food!

This place is run by the sweetest couple and you can tell a lot of care is put into the food! The place has such a cozy vibe as well. We came here on our first trip to Seoul and couldn’t wait to come back again on our second trip. Such a great spot for vegans/vegetarians. Highly recommend the lasagne dish, it’s my favourite 👌

SO GOOD!!🤩

I had the gluten free white sauce pasta, it was one of the most delicious meals I had in my trip! I wish I had some gluten free bread to just continue eating the sauce up, that's how good it was! I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

I have allergies, and the stuff was very helpful making sure that I could eat my meal in peace, highly appreciated

Pros: THE FOOD, THE FOOD!, the service

Good food but bad concept and expensive

The food quality was good, but the overall experience was disappointing. Prices are already very high for Seoul standards, and on top of that, customers are forced to order a drink in order to eat. The cheapest option available was a kombucha for 7,500 KRW and almost the entire drink menu was alcoholic. I personally didn’t want any alcohol, so this policy felt very unfair. Water was supposedly offered at the table, but there were no water glasses available… honestly it felt almost like a joke.
Restaurant was closing at 21.30, but we were asked to leave at 21.00 while we were still drinking.

Thank you for visiting.

We would like to clarify some incorrect information. First of all, Blu Seoul is a wine bar (casual pub). Therefore, each guest is required to order at least one alcoholic drink. However, for guests who do not drink alcohol, we offer four non-alcoholic beverages and two kinds of kombucha, as clearly stated on the menu.

In addition, water and cups are always provided upon request.
Please also note that on Sundays, our business hours are until 9 PM, which was the day of your visit.

-Open Sun & holidays (5:00pm-9:00pm)
-Open Mon-Sat (12:00pm-11:00pm)

Thank you.

Great place for Italian food

Had the lagsagne and spaghetti.

The spaghetti was a bit too spicy, so be mindful.

Otherwise it's a small establishment, I had some friends with me there who weren't vegan, and they loved the food.

Do try the banana bread

Pros: Aglio e olio, Lagsagne, Banana bread

Cons: Few tables: very small
