vegan oasis - Edit
We stopped at blue zone for lunch on our way north. We were extatic to find a fully vegan. They use Ezekiel bread and all their ingredients are fresh. What a great find!

I'm really glad I stopped here, the food was wonderful and the people were friendly! It's a bit out of the way and closes early, but worth it. They have a small team so it may be worth calling in your order before arriving if you're in a hurry.

A food gem in the desert - Edit
What a lovely place—and an even lovelier owner. I was in Española on unrelated business and had seen this spot listed on HappyCow. I knew I was arriving after closing time but decided to stop by anyway, just to check it out. As I was peeking through the windows, Diahann came to the door. Even though she was officially closed, she warmly invited me in and offered to make me a meal. What a treat! The food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Her kindness and generosity made this an experience I won’t forget.

Who would guess that there would be a 100% vegan eating opportunity in Espanola New Mexico. Seriously…what a wonderful healthy eating opportunity.
Read moreThey had two small tables outside and are basically a to go location. That didn’t keep us from stopping there on the way to Santa Fe AND back from Santa Fe on out way home in Colorado.
Most of what they have is organic and hundred percent is vegan! Healthy and full of a lot of love! Read the bio of the owner. She’s absolutely lovely as a person, business owner, and food “designer.“
Only 30 minutes from Santa Fe. I’d recommend it in a heartbeat. It’s not fast food, as it’s made to order, so be patient.
The building is very nondescript and it’s on a frontage road, so easy to miss. Would love for them to have a more description sign indicating that they are vegan food. If I hadn’t found it on HappyCow, I’m not sure I would’ve found it at all. In fact, was told that they opened about three years ago and this is the first time we found them.
Some of the kindest ladies you’ll ever find who care less about the tip and more about putting good food into your body. A lot of locals, so they’re doing something right in a community that has way too much fast food! 
Pros: Organic - healthy 100% vegan options, Love put in food, Good people serving good food
Cons: Better signage- make more specific , No eat-in

Blue Zone is an oasis of warmth and health. We were so happy to find it out here. The smoothies, green juice avo toast, and “blind date” dessert were all lovely, as are the people who run the place.
Read moreIf possible, bring your own personal cups for the smoothies or juices, to reduce plastic.

What a cute find! I really enjoyed the avocado toast. It was generously covered in avocado with delicious toppings. Take out only since there are no tables to eat but worth a stop!
