Cute place for a bite! - Edit
Stopped here for some tea and cake, and sat on the terrace outside next to the planetarium, across from city hall. The tea was lovely, and you can't go wrong with good apple pie😄

Cute place with some vegan options - Edit
The menu doesn't mention vegan options but if you ask the staff they have some options. They had 3 kinds of vegan pie and the lotus cake was very nice. Also a great atmosphere!

Great pick - Edit
Cafe next to the Planetarium 🪐 Vegan options weren’t super visible but upon request, there were quite some options.

Antique style setting at the planetarium - Edit
The inside of the brasserie was like a museum, a great setting. We were there for tea/coffee en had one of the two vegan cake options. Unfortunately also gluten free, what gave the chocolate cake that typical GF moldy consistency.

Lunch in historic surroundings - Edit
Simple well made lunch in a historic old coffee roasting shop. Good vegan options - although had to ask. Waiter understood the requirements and whilst offering either white or brown bread mentioned the white contained milk.

tasty vegan broodjes - Edit
I went here with my boyfriend and his parents after visiting the Eise Eisinga Planetarium - in fact, the restaurant is directly attached to the museum. we were surprised by how many vegan options there were - two kinds of vegan broodjes (pulled oyster mushroom and vegan katsu chicken), as well as options for vegan cakes, pancakes and soups. we got both broodjes which were nice a big, and served with a little salad on the side. we also got coffee and some waadfris (sparkling apple and carrot drink) which were also great. I'd recommend coming here after visiting the museum, but beware that on a busy day at the museum, it can be difficult to find a place to sit at the cafe.

Ik heb hier samen met m'n vriendin en m'n ouders gegeten nadat we het Planetarium hadden bezocht en ik was blij verrast met de smakelijke veganistische broodlunches.
