OK

The food was good, but the vegan options are less extensive than the pictures on happy cow would lead you to think (no vegan dumplings, gyozas, bao buns etc.).
Also, the service was a little confused—there was some back and forth with us getting the leftovers to go, and in the end we didn’t get our rice.

Good selection, inexpensive lunch menu. Cash only, unclear declarations

The selection of marked vegan dishes is good and the lunch menu is inexpensive at 19.80 for five items. I liked that the savory soup comes with sour sides and mushrooms which creates all new flavors.
There is an (unexplained) V marker beside the vegetarian dishes and according to staff they are all vegan, but be sure to specify vegan when ordering.

Nice experience...

I wanted to give five stars but apparently one can only give it to fully vegetarian/vegan restaurants.

I was recently at this restaurant and ordered as starter okras and as main the Eggplant pot (asked them to do it vegetarian for me) with some rice. The taste was really good and the amount was perfect while the price is typical for a restaurant in Zurich. Cool thing was that they informed us (we‘re both („mostly“) vegetarian), that we could ask them to cook things that weren’t on the card, as example they gave us vegetarian steamed buns (BaoZi)!!!
So cool!
We had it as takeaway, as the local government closed the restaurants.

Pros: Definitely good Taste!, Authentic food from Shanghai, not some sweet&sour

Cons: Time: popular that’s why you have to wait longer
