Great ethos, food, and vibes - Edit
I read it was a vegan workers' cooperative and knew I needed to go visit!
Read moreThe space is really nice an bright, people are super lovely, the coffee is excellent and the food is delish! Can't recommend it highly enough. My only wish is that they would have some healthier options, like maybe soup for this coming winter, or stew?

Highly Recommended - Edit
Discovered this lovely cafe by accident and was blown away by their amazing breakfasts. Came with a group of non-vegans who were all equally impressed. Great selection of cooked breakfasts, burgers and interesting sides. The garlic mushrooms are lush! Really lovely staff, too.

Lovely cafe - Edit
There's a great vibe at Cafe Kino, run by a co-op in a large space. It has a good range of breakfasts (until 11.30am)and lunch options.

Really nice atmosphere - busy!! - Edit
I just got a latte which was really nice - but they have an amazing menu with some bakery items and packaged snacks by the till. I had to wait quite a while for my drink but it was midday on a sunday so it makes sense it was rammed. Lots of seating!

Great for breakfast/brunch - Edit
Had the breakfast muffins (sausage patty, tofu egg patty & cheese), mochas and a banoffee milkshake. Food was quick to come and tasty. No problems with service that previous reviewers have noted. Nice vibes- like an old school working class cafe with a hipster twist & feels like it serves a range of people from the community. Would recommend! #Veganuary

i’ve been going to cafe kino for years! the burgers are delish! my go to is the spicy bean burger and the spicy chikn burger! i’ve tried a lot of vegan chikn burgers but this one of my favs !!! so reasonably priced. supporting a local business. i hope it stays in business for as long as possible. It wouldn’t be the same without it.

Lovely little greasy spoon style cafe - Edit
Great little cafe, big menu with several options entirely vegan. Sausages sadly aren’t very nice & gave an easy area of criticism for a non-vegan friend but the rest lovely. Would recommend!

Nice breakfast - Edit
We came here for breakfast one morning, had a full kino which was lovely and tasty, satisfied our craving for a English breakfast. Took a little time to arrive but understandable with just one person cooking. The staff member that took orders and made drinks was very friendly. Overall it was a pleasure to go.

Garlic Chkn Burger 🧄 - Edit
Came in just before 1pm knowing we were a bit late for the breakfast and got told they were low on stock for the breakfast and the chef was about to go on their break (only one chef on this day due to staff shortages). Luckily the chef agreed to stay on a little longer for us!
Read moreWe had the Garlic Chkn Burger and it didn’t disappoint. The garlic sauce was super overpowering and the chicken burger was quite peppery, but overall it was really nice.
We’ll be back again, hopefully in time for the breakfast!
Pros: Fully vegan menu, Really good quality, Friendly staff
Cons: Flavours need a little work, Possible staff/stock shortages

Wonderful! - Edit
The food here is always satisfying and has an amazing homely feel to it, I would definitely recommend, especially in the past year or so with more fake meats being introduced alongside the classic bean burger!

Nice little cafe - Edit
Completely vegan which I always love. I liked the ability to have half a breakfast because I always find a whole one a bit much. They didn't have any milkshakes when we went, which was a shame. The mac and cheese had a bit of an odd texture too. But the vibe of the place is nice and the smoothies are lovely.

Cool little Cafe - Edit
Kino is one of the OG vegan places in Bristol. The food is fresh and excellently cooked the menu isn't huge but everything tastes absolutely amazing, combined with the cool vibe and aesthetic it's definitely one of my favourite places to eat.

Nice vibe - Edit
I can’t comment on the full menu as the kitchen wasn’t open when I was there, but the vibe of the cafe is friendly. However it was expensive as hell! £9.50 for a drink and pasta salad 😰

Poor service - Edit
Really disappointed to wait in line for 10 minutes behind just two customers, whilst two others were in the kitchen not preparing any food just chatting, and not be acknowledged at all and then what was listed as the soup of the day there was no more of at 12:30. Would love to give these guys a second chance!
