Delicious and delightful food - Edit
I love the vibes of this place. It is relaxed and open. Everyone is welcome and they even have a forward it on Board for soup and coffee for anyone struggling. I usually get bean burge4, Rosemary chips and slaw. Cakes are awesome also.

An extremely satisfying breakfast - Edit
Nice chilled out space with a good affordable menu and welcoming staff.
Read moreWe visited for breakfast, ordering the toasted breakfast sandwich, bacon breakfast muffin and toast, with scrambled tofu and beans toppings.
All the breakfasts were hearty and filling, with the scrambled tofu very nice indeed. Decent coffee too.
Cake Kino also has an option to pay it forward, of which we opted in to. This was used just moments later and was definitely the most satisfying part of our breakfast visit.
Pros: Tasty food , Pay it forward , Staff

Not jealous at all. One of the greatest left leaning independent places around. The fabulous Cafe Kino.

Only been to their previous home on Ninetree Hill in 2007 before they moved literally over the road in 2010. I’ll have to rectify that on my next visit to Brizza.

excellent lunch - Edit
came here and ordered the spicy chickn burger, curly fries and kino salad on the side. everything was excellent, and you could just tell how beloved the space was by the local community by going in.
Read moreextremely friendly staff, and the food was excellent. i really liked the texture of the chickn seitan patty— the portion of seitan was thick and well-seasoned, and while the burger itself was a bit difficult to eat with your hands since it was so thick, it was even better in a forkful with fries and salad. would 100% come back again if i’m ever in the area.
loved the political outspokenness of the space too. free palestine 🇵🇸

Politically vegan safe space - Edit
Loved everything about it. Felt so welcoming and inclusive. Political fliers in the window and at the counter, option to pay it forward for those that can't afford food themselves, a really positive vibe and a large percentage of queer people. Exactly my kind of place. And the food was delicious. Can't recommend enough.

Everything about this place is 5 stars - Edit
The food was really tasty, we had the breakfast and i took away a slice of cake, still full hours later! The ethos of the place is inspiring, I wish there were more places like this. Love the fact they buy from local independent suppliers, that is so important during these times. Would definitely go back, and we live 65 miles away!

Cafe Kino has been around for a long time and never changes. It's always reliably good, and reliably indie coop feeling.
Read moreThey serve burgers, salads, and cakes, with a couple of surprising additions like a farinata. The food is simple, but tasty. I'd particularly recommend the bean burger - you might think you've had loads of bean burgers before, but this is one of the best!
The furniture is no-nonsense wooden chairs, tables and benches. There are often lefty political causes represented on the walls. They do some fun events here too. It all just feels very nice. I like it here every time I go.

Delicious! - Edit
The food here was really good and I would definitely come back! We went for a Classic Bean Burger (with added cheese), Garlic Chkn Burger (with added bacon), Cauliflower Wings, Curly Fries and Mac and Cheese. Both burgers were really good and fresh. My favourite was the Garlic Chkn as I thought the texture and flavour of the seitan was just delicious, but I also loved the bean burger. The cauliflower wings were also excellent with perfectly cooked cauliflower and an impressive crispy batter. The Mac and Cheese had a lovely rich flavour and the Curly Fries were nice and crispy as well. I was also a big fan of the mayo which had a thick, creamy texture and delicious flavour.
Read moreWe also got a chocolate chip cookie and a chocolate brownie to take away and again they were both excellent! They were rich and moist, honestly some of the best baked goods I've had since going vegan.

Cafe Kino is a really great brunch spot, in a good location with tasty vegan food.

Yummy Lemon Slices - Edit
The lemon slice was moist and soft with sweetness from the lovely icing. Highly recommend 5/5.
Read moreThe full breakfast was alright - the mushrooms, toast, beans and kale was good. The sausages were dry, maybe fried? and the hash brown was crispy throughout making it very oily, probably also fried 3/5.
