The vegan food was clearly marked, also vegetarian options that could be made vegan were marked, and it was all very tasty. The staff were a bit all over the place, but friendly nonetheless, and subtracted a drink when food was wrongly delivered or so. It is a bit pricey, but worth it for the nice location, ambience and food.

The restaurant is a very nice place to eat veg*. They have a changing menu, but always a lot of veg* choices, which are very tasty. Even Non-Veg*, I was with, enjoyed it. If you are handicaped it might be difficult to go inside.

Sehr nette und verständnisvolle Atmosphäre. Die Mitarbeiter vergessen zwar mal die Bestellung, bringen ggf. auch mal was Falsches, aber sie sind sehr nett und dafür bekommt man als Entschuldigung ein Stück Kuchen oder das gewählte Getränk kostenlos. Abends haben sie manchmal nicht mehr alle Gerichte da. Das ist etwas schade, aber es ist immer sicher, dass man etwas veganes zu essen bekommt. Insgesamt schmeckt das Essen gut und es gibt außerdem einen schönen Innenhof.

Charming outdoor seating & many veg options - Edit
Café Kostbar is situated in the Nauwieser Quarter. The archway leads leads you into a little oasis comprised of a bike shop, a foodsharing fridge, a repertory cinema, and other artsy offers - and Café Kostbar with its charming outdoor seating in the inner courtyard. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Foodwise, the vegan and vegetarian options are absolutely clearly marked on the seasonal menu but unfortunately not (yet) on the daily menu. There are plenty of vegetarian and also vegan options to choose from - they even have at least one vegan dessert! I like the fact that they change the regular menu according to the season and that they also offer fair-traded organic beverages. Since they try to source organically locally grown ingredients, the food isn´t exactly cheap but you definitely get good money value. I´ve been here several times over the years and can whole-heartedly recommend it, especially on a summer night.

The Cafe Kostbar has very beautiful outdoor seating. There is a nice and atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. I had the Salad Kostbar, which was very tasty.

Eine Institution - Edit
Das Kostbar gibt es schon ewig und seit ewig ist das Essen prima dort. Toll ist die wechselnde Karte, der Jahreszeit angepasst. Es gibt einecschöne Menge an Veganem Essen. Immer ausgesprochen lecker. Das Personal ist super freundlich, locker, und immer bereit eine extra "Wurst" zu erfüllen ;)
