Peaceful and delicious

We had lunch here yesterday. Menu has four lunch options available until 2pm, then a choice of two sandwiches from 2 until close. Drinks and desserts also available.

Accessed through a beautifully overgrown garden just a few minutes drive from the coast. Free parking on site. Menu is in Japanese.

Pros: Delicious, Well priced

Not a huge menu, but very tasty

This cafe is housed in a charming building and the garden had beautiful spring flowers. They were holding an event when I visited so the cafe was also filled with greenery and flowers.

They had limited options- during the event it was a katsu plate or curry plate. The curry plate came with a choice between two different types of rice. For drinks, they had cordial (the Belvoir brand), coffee, or Japanese black tea, and for dessert ice cream or apple pie.

I had an iced coffee with soymilk, the curry plate and ice cream. My dining companion had an iced coffee, the curry plate and apple pie (which also came with a small scoop of ice cream). The total was just over 3000 jpy for two people.

The curry was lemony and very tasty, although just a bit lukewarm. It came with a salad that was very good, and citrus dressing was provided. The coffee was a generous size, as was the soymilk pitcher. The ice cream was very good as well and I loved the edible flowers it was decorated with. I didn't like the apple pie crust that much as I thought it was slightly heavy.

I enjoyed everything a lot and will be sure to come back.

Pros: Nicely decorated cafe, Beautiful garden, Tasty food

Cons: Not many options on the menu
