Vegan Pastries, Tofu Burrito & Drinks

While many coffee shops in San Diego offer non-dairy milk and vegan pastries, Cafeina still surprised me. They supply their pan dulce from SPLIT Bakehouse, an all-vegan local bakery, and even had a vegan tofu burrito available the day I visited. We ordered a café de olla, a latte, and the burrito. While my café de olla was slightly over-brewed, it was still enjoyable. However, my boyfriend’s latte and the burrito were delicious. The cafe itself is cute, with friendly staff and some seating.
