Good Food with a Good Heart - Edit
I am always keen to support food-based community initiatives where I can, so dining here was no-brainier.
Read moreIt’s a comfortable little spot with an excellent shop attached where you can pick up fresh bread, and more importantly, a decent range of sweet treats. While the sandwich I had was quite basic (and expensive for what it was), I did enjoy it and the sausage roll was also of a good standard. The highlight though was the mini Bakewell tart, the best one that I’ve had in a fair while.
I don’t know if I would necessarily make a beeline for the cafe again anytime soon, but I would definitely frequent the shop on a regular basis to grab more of the baked goods.

A wee gem! - Edit
Only had takeaway coffee and chocolate cake from the shop but it was really good. The shop has so many things to choose from too. Will definitely be spending more time here and will return to eat at the main cafe in future too.

This is such a special place! There's a true sense of community as soon as you walk in! Everything is vegetarian here and there are many vegan (and vegan adaptable) dishes. There are lots of classics on the menu and lots of variety with the daily specials. There is generally one vegan dessert on offer and everything always fresh and tasty!
