Huge Serving Size - Edit
The pasta was amazing! But the serving size was huge! So beware, it’s meant to share.

Great idea - Edit
I enjoyed the idea of this restaurant and the online menu was amazing letting you see exactly what you can make vegan or vegetarian and it even tells you exactly what to say when ordering it to make it that way. The food was delicious and good prices for the portions.
Read moreThe only downfall was the fried zucchini was labelled as vegetarian, however it came with Parmesan on it. Unfortunately some cheeses are not vegetarian as they have animal rennet in and I would like chefs to pay attention to this detail so we can eat vegetarian food. It looked delicious and I would have liked to have tried it.
Pros: Portion sizes, Prices , Menu details
Cons: Chef wasn’t clued up on vegetarian items

A First Taste of American Dining - Edit
I dined at Carmine’s restaurant, which marked my first American dining experience. One thing that stood out was the portion size – a single plate of pasta easily served three people. While the menu didn’t offer a wide range of exciting dishes, I was pleased to find vegan options available. However, the dishes themselves were not particularly remarkable, consisting of cooked pasta with a simple sauce.
Read moreOne aspect that left room for improvement was the bread service. The staff placed assorted bread in a basket, some of which had cheese. Upon requesting plain bread, they did provide it, but the only condiment available was olive oil, as there were no vegan options for spreading or dipping.
The service was notably enthusiastic and had that stereotypical American flair, seemingly geared toward maximizing tips. Nonetheless, they were attentive and accommodating to our requests.

Large Portions - Edit
This isn’t a place you come alone to. It is family style and each dish can feed 3-4 people. Has a separate vegan/vegetarian menu that notes what can become vegan by removing an item from it. Ordered the spaghetti pasta which tasted great. Also had my fair share of bread which all bread they serve is vegan.
