Tasty traditional Porto meals but veganised. Very tasty. There is a proper separate vegan menu so no need to look around for options.

My husband and I ate vegan francesinha (shared by half) and bolo de bolacha, also vegan. Everything was very good. The sauce in francesinha was delicious. Definitely coming back

Considering this was my first Francesinha, and vegan at that, this is the benchmark I will measure all vegan Francesinhas against. It was very tasty as I had to confirm it was vegan because of the textures. If I ever return to Oporto (I'm hoping so) I'll return here if I'm ever in the mood for a Francesinha. I'm glad I got there shortly after they opened at 1900. It's very popular with the locals and for delivery. Don't forget your euro, they don't take credit cards.

I eat at Casanova each time I pass through Porto. Their francesinha is great, including the sauce and fries. And the best part is the dessert with an amazing "bolo de bolacha" a cake made with maria cookies and cream. Highly recommend!

Casanova was recommended to us by a local vegan we met and she was right. Best vegan francesinha in Porto! Seems to be more of a local place run by a family. Make sure you have room in your stomach, food is a lot and to amazing to leave something behind. We will definitely come back once we are in Porto again!

Affordable spot to try vegan francesinhas - Edit
If we hadn't been told to go here I would not have guessed it would be so vegan friendly. Casanova is a little local cafe with a whole separate vegan menu (it's written vegetarian but the waiter told us the list was all vegan). A friend and I shared a francesinhas with fries and enjoyed the experience. The sauce was really nice, it was cool to get to try this traditional dish veganized. Not something I would eat everyday as it's really heavy but if you want to try this Porto classic I'd highly recommend this cafe. We tried in another restaurant as well and this one was by far better.

Para terminar pedimos uma sobremesa da casa que consiste em camadas de natas, leite condensado e bolacha, tudo vegetal claro, uma sobremesa muito pouco elaborada mas bastante saborosa. Também levámos uma fatia de bolo de bolacha e ficámos rendidos porque foi simplesmente o melhor de sempre, as proporções de café e creme de 'manteiga' estavam simplesmente perfeitas!

Restaurante com imensas opções veganas, quer para prato principal quer para sobremesa, preços acessíveis e empregados muito simpáticos. Deve marcar-se mesa antes de ir porque é pequeno e está normalmente cheio. A comida é muito boa; a primeira vez que fui fiquei chocada com o quão parecida era a francesinha vegan com a de carne. Recomendo!

Uma boa escolha para almoçar ou jantar, com várias opções vegan e não vegan.

O único problema do espaço é não ser muito grande, nem muito apelativo à vista. Ao entrar parece ser um restaurante já ultrapassado tipo café , mas ao fundo tem uma zona muito confortável, para além de um pátio para fumantes.
E o menu vegan creio que é uma conversão total de todas as opções não vegan que já serviam.
