Solid option

They have 4 vegan options plus vegan samosas and papadam. I had the tofu palak and really liked it, the spicyness was just right.

It's a nice neighborhood family owned restaurant and you get a good quantity of food for a quite low price.

Nice family owned restaurant

Nice family owned Indian restaurant. Vegan options clearly labeled. If you like it more spicy you should tell that because spice levels are rather adapted to German spice tolerance.

Clearly labelled and tasty

Nice little atmosphere, the vegan options are clearly labelled and tasty. Also very well priced, my tofu daal and a large beer came to just about 12€

Great food & great atmosphere!

Vegan options are clearly marked and all looked amazing. I had the Tofu Palak which I would definitely recommend! The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are nice & very accommodating.

Generous portions and clearly marked vegan dishes

At Chandni you get decent portions of food which are prepared really fast. They are flavourful but don’t necessarily wow you. Great value for money plus a weekly (?) special which is often vegan as well.

Surprisingly bland

I was excited to go to this place because it smelled good and there were always time of people there. Sadly it was a huge dissapointment. I don't know how you manage to make Indian food bland, but they have done it. Two stars because it was edible but that's all I can say for it. If you are hungry and in the neighborhood, skip it and go down the block to Tiato.

Lovely vegan and vegetarian options.

Amazing to discover this place was still open, and the staff were happy to serve us, despite being later than official opening hours! The food came quickly and was delicious. We had the tofu dal (vegan) and the Indien-Salat (vegetarian) which my husband said was amazing. We would definitely come here again for simple, no frills food that tastes great.

Pros: Authentic tasty flavours, Reasonably priced , Able to sit outside

Great lunch place

We go to Chandni regularly for lunch, it's always a pleasure. The food is simple but tasty and comes at a good price, there are many vegetarian and vegan options. Friendly staff and cozy down-to-earth atmosphere.

Pros: Tasty food, Great prices, Fast service

Cons: Not the nicest deco, but outside sitting is great.

Good simple tasty food

Simple decor here, nothing fancy.
But the food was tasty, authentic and in abundance .
I went for the dosa based on a previous review, it did not disappoint.
Bf had the chilli planner, which was seriously breadcrumbs and deep fried as well as being a massive portion

Pros: Vegan section labelled, Dosa, Price

Cons: Off the main track

Go for the dosa

Well laid out vegan menu with lots of options and the regular dishes are decent, but the masala dosa was the winner... Very good price and truly authentic.

It's also not listed on the vegan menu but we were assured no ghee/butter was used. Also, masala dosa is traditionally vegan anyway.

quite good

Chandni is an average Indian restaurant with good food and a quiet cozy atmosphere. It's nice to have a real Indian option without any dairy products according to the menu.
