Vegan Taiwanese restaurant

I grabbed lunch here and ordered the “three cup mushroom,” a take off on the popular Taiwanese chicken dish. They used two types of mushroom—lion’s mane and maybe king trumpet—giving the dish two distinct textures. Lunch included a light vegetable soup and rice. I was also served two small dishes before the meal that I guess is customary for them to include. There was a silken tofu with guava and lotus root and a sesame dressing, and the other small dish was stewed tofu (a different type) and carrots. I really enjoyed my meal, and there’s a good chance I’ll go back while I’m still in Taipei. The menu is only in Chinese. Most items are popular dishes with vegan substitutes for meat.
