Vegan cheese, wine and weed - Edit
If there were only one restaurant to recommend in Pai it would have to be here. Vegan cheese, wine and weed. It couldn’t get better. The weed is pretty expensive compared to a lot of other dispensaries but the food is super worth it.

Popped into this place for an evening snack after being at the night market—’snack’ being the keyword here, as the portions aren’t big enough to constitute a full meal. There’s one vegan cheese option on offer, muenster-style, which was pretty tasty but didn’t melt at all. You can also pay extra for additional toppings such as tomato, pickled cucumber, jalapeños, avocado, etc. Gluten-free bread is available for an additional 40 baht. They even have Marmite on the menu which I couldn’t resist going for as it is usually so hard to source in Thailand, but they added so little I could barely taste it. The little pot of olives on the side was a nice touch.

It’s only because my partner noticed the waitress write down ’ground beef’ that he thought to question it. She explained that they were out of plant-based beef so I could have the meat version instead..?! In hindsight, this makes me wonder how careful they are with ensuring all the other ingredients are vegan, such as the butter and the bread. So, be cautious and make sure to double-check you’re definitely getting what you ordered!

They have one vegan grilled cheese sandwich that you can add thing to, like marmite, spinach, olives, tomatos , etc. We liked it so much we ordered delivery on FoodPanda twice more

This is the perfect food for a late night snack. They don't offer a vegan sandwich but they have vegan cheese so with the "Build your own" option you can create your vegan sandwich. The toppings are quite expensive though so I only chose tomato for mine. If you don't want to pay a lot you can't really get lots of toppings since the vegan cheese is already 99 Baht.
