Delicious, but choose carefully - Edit
Went with friends for Taco Tuesday (good value if you want to try everything). We loved the ribs and to-fish, thought the oyster mushroom was fine but very heavy on the fried coating, and did not enjoy the cheezeburger or shawarma at all (the fake meats were extremely processed and the flavours not great either).
Read moreOur overall impression was that Club Mexicana does its best dishes very well, but also has a couple of disappointing menu items; for that reason, we probably wouldn’t recommend Taco Tuesday: just order off the regular menu.
I have also been to the Soho location and really enjoyed the chorizo and sweet potato burrito bowl, so I do think lots of their food is excellent — just a bit hit and miss!
Would definitely recommend coming here as long as you order wisely.

My son ordered a virgin cherry frozen margarita, which tasted off - a bit too sour and the 'cherry' they put on it he wanted to spit out. He also ordered the loaded nachos, and the 'vegan chorizo' tasted like black beans, the guacamole didn't taste like a real avocado. The cheese sauce seemed nice, but there wasn't enough of it.
I ordered two tacos, which were okay, but so tiny! The vegan kale Caesar was decent.
I went with my cousin who is not a vegan and she seemed to enjoy her burrito bowl.
The service was also a bit strange. One person seated us, another person took our order and only delivered some of it - I had to ask for my salad to be brought from the counter to the table by someone else. Then the original server just never came back. We had to flag down someone for the bill and then to pay the bill and while they were VERY nice - there was hardly anyone in the restaurant so I'm not sure why they were so flaky.

I had dinner for my birthday with my 5 people, and shared almost the entire taco selection. The highlight was the rib and the loaded nachos. The mango jalapeno margarita was also delicious

I’ve always wanted to go here and it was a surprise for my birthday! The food blew me away, some of the best tacos I’ve ever had and such a huge range of margaritas to choose from. The nachos were especially great, the cheese sauce was so tasty. The staff were very attentive and we got 2 free drinks for my birthday!

Very tasty food! However do be prepared for fake meat and cheese. I had the quesadilla which was great, and 2 tacos. This was perfect for 1 person. Oh and the drinks are great! Advised to book a table in advance.

My partner and I booked the Margarita brunch and had a good time. We ordered the Loaded Nachos to share (which we've had before at another location), and I ordered the Birra Tacos (which aren't available at all Club Mexicana locations).

We really enjoyed our lunch here - loaded nachos (with black beans subbed in) & the ‘chick’en’ burrito bowl. The service was excellent & super attentive. The food was fresh. I just didn’t like the faux chicken. I should have subbed in beans.

Read moreRob then came over and introduced himself as the server. He is a vegan chef and previously worked in the kitchen but is equally fascinated with front of house and decided to balance his skillset. What a lovely person he is.
Thursday evening and the place filled up with hungry vegans 🌱 in no time. My friend turned up and we got lost in conversation as we go back to 1991 and have loads to chin wag about so I forgot to take pictures of the amazing food.
Suffice to say the food is as good as the staff and the property and I’ll be back loads and will take pictures of the food next time.
It’s worth noting that this end of commercial street has become home to vegan 🌱 brands with 4 places all within spitting distance of each other.

Der Club Mexicana in Spitalfields hat tolle Tacos. Wir waren am Taco Dienstag da. Dann gibt es für 20£ so viele Tacos, wie man möchte. Man bekommt immer 3 von einer Sorte. Wir hatten Al Pastor Tacos (fanden wir ok, das Schawarma schmeckte ähnlich wie Like Meat Grilled Chicken) und die BBQ Short Rip Tacos (wirklich exzellent, dafür würde ich wiederkommen, so was habe ich noch nie vorher gegessen, absolut überraschend die Sour Creme). Die Classic Margarita kommt mit einem Chili-Salz-Rand und war sehr gut.

Das Personal war nett, etwas unaufmerksam, und weil wir nur eine Tacorunde hatten haben wir auch nur den normalen Preis von 15£ für 3 Tacos bezahlt. Der Tip wird automatisch auf die Rechnung aufgeschlagen.

I wasn't expecting too much as Mexican vegan food outside the Americas can be disappointing, but this place changed that for me. Wowzers! The BBQ 'beef' burrito and birria tacos were heavenly (although I slightly burned my thumb trying to pick up a birria taco, so you should probably wait a few minutes until they cool a bit!) 😄

I got birria tacos plate of three with consommé dipping sauce and a portion of tortilla chips with chipotle oil and chilli & lime salt.
Read moreThe tortillas were really good, the oil was a good mix and it worked well as a starter.
The tacos tasted great especially with the dipping sauce (I just stopped myself from drinking it..).
Gnome child got 3 of the tofish and chips taco and the corn on the cob.
I tried some of both and they were tasty as well.
I would definitely eat here again, the place had a nice style and the staff were nice.

The corn on the cob was delicious! I would happily come here again just for it. It was spicy and savoury and perfect. I would have liked if they had the things you can put in the end of corn on the cob so you can hold it easier, but that's a minor complaint.
The to'fish tacos were very nice. The sauce was very salty so I was glad that they didn't put a lot in it.
The birria were amazing, especially the consommé. I would drink the consommé. If I come here again I will get these. They were the most savoury thing in the world, which was exactly what I wanted.
The staff were lovely and the service was fast.
The music was very loud.
