nice ambience viet restaurant - Edit
Cochin 1982 is straight in the heart of Stuttgart, at Schulstraße, so called „Fressgasse“ (kind of a food-street with several restaurants), close to shopping street „Königstraße“.
Read moreThe place is cute with origin style viet decor, the menu holds around three labeled vegan mains and a few starters. Could have more options.
Two of the three vegan dishes are served cold - I had sushi bowl and my friend had a ricenoodle kind of stir fry, similar to Pad Thai, but cold, so this was a little unexpected.
The food was solid, not outstanding.
I prefer some other Vietnamese restaurants over this one for the value.
Here the prices are higher and portions smaller than in similar restaurants.

Pros: nice location
Cons: more pricey than similar restaurants, vegan options limited, two of them served cold

Only one vegan dish!! - Edit
Very nice staff but there seems to be a misunderstanding about the vegan options they offer. Menu items marked with green leaves are meant to be vegetarian. Most of the dishes are made with fish sauce or cream. I've been told that only one dish can be made vegan (you have to explicitly ask for it) and it wasn't really spectacular. Rice noodles with vegetables, tofu and a bit of soy sauce. They warned me so it's fine but I don't think I'll eat there again

Super delicious - Edit
I had the Buddha Bowl and I really liked it! Everything was fresh and super tasty. My friend ordered Summer Rolls and Edamame. Both were nice, too.
Read moreYou should double-check if the staff actually understood what you in said, as they seem to not understand German very well, but Asian politeness forbids them to ask/admit they didn't understand. ;)

Good Vietnamese food with vegan option - Edit
The place is in the city centre, near also another vegan bar. The location is nice. Has both place inside and outside. The menu is really nice with pictures and clear label of the vegan option -(helps a lot in case you don't know German like me) . The service was also nice and fast. I take the "pho sot me", noodles with peanut butter and tamarind sauce with the tofu. They tasted amazing and I never taste a tofu like this: crispy outside and soft.
Read moreThere is any vegan dessert. You can also take the amazing drink made there and I like that they use a rechargeable straw.
I wish i had an Asian restaurant like this in my home town.
Pros: Lots of vegan and visible option, Tasty food, Fast service
Cons: Expensive, No vegan dessert
