Good Breakfast! - Edit
We went here twice this week… Breakfast bowls and paninis are great. Scrambled tofu was yummy. The atmosphere is clean and bright. Great service. and the Tea selection is fantastic! fill your cup with hot water a couple times as they put soooo much tea in the steeping baskets:). Coffee too is good. To-go salads and such. Nice bakery items with Vegan options:)

Get a noodle bowl - Edit
I really liked the Satay Noodle bowl. The coconut bacon vlt was really good but left me hungry. Maybe they should use a thicker or more filling bread.

A MUST try if you’re in Canmore - Edit
The vibe in this place is amazing! You can tell that the workers are happy to be there, my friend and I visited twice in one day since we were so impressed. So many vegan and vegetarian options, we had a difficult time choosing from all the variety!! The food and drinks came out quick and we’re not only delicious, but also filling and very affordable. The VLT is 100% worth trying! You can also buy pre made salads/bowls for a super quick lunch on the go. This place also makes their own homemade vegan sauces and dressings that you can purchase and take home!

Mountain Veggie Wrap is the bomb! - Edit
Deserves 5 stars despite not being fully veggie.
Read moreMountain Veggie Wrap is the bomb! So many options for bowls but this wrap called my name and loved it. Equally hard to pick which loose leaf teas to bring home. Will be back whenever I’m in the area!

Perfect place to grab a healthy bite to eat! - Edit
My fiance had the VLT and I had a noodle bowl. The VLT was really good but my noodle bowl was just okay. Chips and dip are a little pricey for what you get but their hot chocolate and maple latte are well worth the price.

Not allergy friendly. - Edit
I wanted to like this place because of the amazing vegan options but I explained my allergies to the server and he checked in the kitchen and said the food was safe and did not contain the ingredients. One nibble of the burrito and I started having an allergic reaction.
Read moreWhilst the server was very apologetic and remade the burrito without the allergen, it is still not acceptable. More training and information needs to be shared with staff before you make someone very sick.

Amazing, Delicious and Wholesome Bowls! - Edit
Communitea Cafe is an adorable, charming and friendly cafe in Canmore. During a recent visit to the Rockies in September 2020, I ate here nearly every day (sometimes twice a day)! Their menu is amazing and features a variety of healthy, creative and nourishing bowls, lots of teas, etc.. Items that are gluten free and vegan are clearly marked and there are options to make anything vegan on the menu with substitutions.
Read moreDue to the pandemic, the cafe is only open for take-out and patio seating at the moment (no indoor seating). The online ordering system was very efficient and smooth. I liked that the take-out containers were compostable.
I tried the Buddha Bowl, Yoga Bowl and Kale Caesar Salad during my visits and loved all of them. Such delicious and unique flavours and packed with wholesome ingredients. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, it would deserve it. Fantastic and cute little cafe and I will continue to eat here on future travels.

The best hummus - Edit
I go here every time I stay in Canmore for breakfast. The hummus they use for their avocado toast is delicious! They have a few marked vegan options on their menu. There is a great selection of locally made tea, too, and they have a choice of oat or almond milk.

Delicious bowl! - Edit
This was my second time at Communitea, and it was really tasty. I would definitely recommend getting a bowl, as it's a good amount of food and the ones I've had are really delicious. There definitely can be a longer wait on weekends so keep that in mind. They also have vegan snacks (energy balls) but I haven't tried those yet.
