Enjoyable Vegan tapas selection! - Edit
A lovely restaurant spot in the heart of the old town with outdoor seating in the front and a secluded seatinf area in the back! We came here for the vegan tapas selection as it was advertised outside the restaurant! It was refreshing to see that one of the options was their own take on vegan meatballs in a tomato sauce which was yummy. the other dishes included the classic padron peppers aswell. For mains, other than paella there was a vegan burger so vegans have options for any course. I would recommend this place as they clearly understand that veganism is becoming more popular in touristy areas and they made a point of advertising it on their blackboard!!

It’s nice that Cristal offers vegan options, clearly indicated on the big board at the entrance. However, the actual offering was underwhelming—a small bowl with peppers, mushrooms, some meatballs, and two pieces of falafel. Glad they have something, but that’s about it. We asked for bread separately, but it was old and tough. Giving 3 stars for the effort to provide vegan options. It’s better than nothing, and the falafel and meatballs were okay.

Read moreI had the set menu vegan tapas which was meatballs, peppers, garlic mushrooms and crispy chickpea fritters (can’t remember the actual names of any of the dishes), all were lovely and cooked from scratch with clean ingredients.
Only downside was we were a group of 6 (including 1 toddler who we asked for their food to come early which it did), the remaining 5 (3 omnis, myself vegan and my mum had vegan option also although no vegan) all come at different times and the first few had nearly finished their food by the time mine and my mums arrived. The wait was disappointing although a lot more acceptable in our eyes given the food was all cooked fresh and made in house including the meatballs not frozen items etc. Simple yet full of flavour.
From memory the vegan tapas was around €18 maybe slightly more, my mum finished hers but I struggled as was generous portion, I would’ve happily shared 1 between 2 people perhaps with side of chips. My toddler had the vegan burger from adult menu which was huge so she only had a quarter and lots of chips which were hand cut. I think the burger was around €15-18 but not 100%.
Would definitely recommend.

I had the vegan tapas, which were listed on a sign outside, clearly labelled. I also had a bread with tomato spread. Both were delicious, could have been a bit more spicy. The staff was super friendly.

We came there to eat Tapas and Paella. Paella was not available, because it would took to long to cook.
So we ordered:
Vegan meat balls
garlic mushrooms
rosmary potatos
vegan Burger
The Burger was very dry, cold and not tasty. Except a little bit of pesto it had no sauce on it. We had to ask for Ketchup to make it eatable. They offered to bring another dish, but there was no else vegan main course available, so we eat it. The patty, maybe homemade, also was not delicious, but ok. Then there was a huge onion piece, a small tomato and a small lettuce on it. Thats all.
The meatballs were the same like the patty, but in round shape. They came with a vegetable sauce. The garlic mushrooms were ok, but we had much better ones in other restaurants. The rosmary potatos were thin, soft, only with rosmary spice and very oily. They looked nearly the same like the fried potatos, but with spices.
All in all we were really disappointed, because the menu sounded so good.
At least they did not charge us the burger at the end, because the waiter noticed our experience.

Situated in the heart of Alcudia’s old town, Cristal has indoor and outdoor seating and offers a nice selection of vegan dishes. I wasn’t sure if the V symbol on the menu was to identify the vegetarian or vegan options though, but I believe it was for vegan items as well ordered the Patatas Rusticas and the staff assured us they were vegan.

There are a few vegan options and the menu is well marked with what dishes contain which is great. Vegan Paella is not listed but I asked and they said they have it. It was good but very carb heavy - would be great if they added seitan or tofu for protein. The vegan meatballs were nice however I wouldn’t reorder. I was surprised that when the bill came the vegan paella costs the same as a seafood paella. I find this cheeky. 16.50 Euro per person for rice and vegetables. Too expensive in my eyes. Also the server told us that the tapas and paella are small in size - I assume to get us to order more. They are big portions.

Such tasty food, the pics are of the Pa amb oli bread with grilled veg, garlic mushrooms, vegan meatballs, rosemary potatoes, all vegan. There’s also a vegan burger on the menu which I didn’t try. The staff were so friendly , we went twice on our trip , once for lunch once for dinner. My partner is not vegan and he really enjoyed his non vegan food as well as the vegan options.

Lovely little cafe with outdoor seating along an adorable alley. Delish vegan meatball tapas and mushrooms and roasted tomato with tofu on greens. Shishito peppers were really good but I hate spicy food and got nailed by a brutal one. Very nice spot for dinner and they serve all hours.
