Been here a couple of times before and had a couple of pintxos, a smothie... but today my friend and I had lunch here: it was surprisingly good. Daily menu was cheap for how generous the dishes were, including an appetiser, dessert, drinks, bread...
Read moreI had the risotto and a Chinese roll to eat, and the cheesecake with matcha for dessert, everything was delicious (way too delicious for just 15€!), my friend had the papaya salad with quinoa and a hamburger with sweet potato and a brownie for dessert (all vegan it goes without saying). Everything was exquisite!

This was our first meal in Bilbao and it was fantastic! So many vegan options to choose from. You can order pinxtos at the bar or order off the menu. Lots of seating inside and upstairs. Outside, in front of the restaurant there are high top tables. Excellent service, very affordable, super tasty! Try the faux duck crispy spring roll! We have never tried anything like it!

Read moreWe went there for lunch in the middle of the pandemic and thus would’ve expected the hygiene to be irreproachable. However, the waiter, who didn’t seem to care much about our presence, didn’t even clean the table and wore his sweaty mask halftime.
We also had a fun surprise when we noticed the mold on a slice of lemon that had been put in a glass of Coke. The recurring bips of the microwaves that emerge from the kitchen also give the place a very nice atmosphere!
That being said, I don’t think I need to mention the fact that the food isn’t obviously fresh and homemade...
I ordered the falafels (frozen food) that came with crudités (that didn’t taste anything and that looked old by their blemishes) and with a soy yogurt sauce (that was actually sweet lemon soy yogurt). All the plates we ordered were about the same disappointment. Some of the food was clearly inedible and the poor hygiene diminished our willingness to eat our plates.
Despite the bad food and hygiene, the service was horrible as well. The waiter was very rude and would roll his eyes when taking our order. Even though he was often leaning his elbows on the bar, having nothing to do, he would stare at our drinks and food for a couple of minutes before actually bringing them to us.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all!!!!! Please don’t go there, it is a waste of time, money and you won’t eat well at all (from the starters to the deserts). You might even end up with food poisoning...

Sitio perfecto para comer vegano. Lo que más nos gustó de lo que pedimos fueron las piparras en tempura, los rollitos chinos y las croquetas. El sitio es mono y bastante grande, tienen también terraza. La camarera que nos atendió fue muy amable. Recomendado!!

As I entered the shop the waitress just said “it’s closed” in a really rude way... Almost all the tables where occupied so it didn’t seem closed at all. I arrived at 15:15 so maybe the close at 16:00 like many other restaurants. Still doesn’t explain the behavior to me.

Best vegan pintxos I’ve had in Bilbao and I’m counting the fully vegan restaurants in that. They have about 6-8 different vegan pintxos at any given time, including vegan tortillas that tend to change flavors depending on the day. They also have a menu with other vegan options that I haven’t tried yet, and meat and diary options so you can bring your more close-minded friends and still have everyone enjoy their meals.

Me habían hablado muy bien de este sitio, sin embargo, la experiencia que he tenido con ellos ha sido lamentable. Les contacté hace un mes para reservar mesa para un cumpleaños y a una semana de la reserva, llamo para confirmarla y me entero de que ese día no abren. El trato deja bastante que desear y es una pena habiendo tan poquitas opciones veganas en Bilbao y siendo ellos una muy buena opción.
