Super affordable & tasty! - Edit
This place is a proper gem - staff were super friendly, and let me try a taste of the soup to help me decide which to choose. The menu is long and varied and everything tasted fresh. But the thing I was most impressed with is the price - truly great value for money! Fab casual little place for a spot of lunch.

Great breakfast/brunch - Edit
We went here 10:20 and it was closed. We waited 15 min and then we got in. But it was worth the wait. The food was very tasty and the service was very sweet. The atmosphere was cozy and we had good time here.

Thank you for your lovely review. Unfortunately public transport and roadworks in Edinburgh do not compliment each other sometimes! 🤣. But thankyou for your patience and please accept our apologies. Very glad to hear you enjoyed your visit and your food ❤️x

Curran Geal - Edit
A cosy cafe with a selection of soups and sandwiches. I only had room for a drink this time, but I’m looking forward to coming back for food. The decor is warm and inviting, the plants adding a nice touch, and sitting here people-watching was a joy. I loved seeing non-vegan regulars popping in for a drink and a chat with the friendly owner. The coffee wasn’t my favourite, but the atmosphere made up for it.

Great selection of (all) vegan food - Edit
There were 4 different types of soup on the menu. I had the spiced carrot with a vegan grilled cheese toastie on the side. Highly recommend their double chocolate fudge cake too.
Read moreOnly downside was the place was freezing and we could see our breath(!) so didn’t stay there as long as we’d have liked!

A vegan gem - Edit
A highlight on my recent trip to Edinburgh! A beautiful well-tended space, full of plants. The food has a hearty, home-made feel to it, seasonal veggies, perfectly spiced. The portions are very nice, filling and well priced. The owner, Erin, is so friendly and welcoming.

A great stop at Tollcross! They had a small but tasty selection of sandwiches, soups, and other comforting combos. I went for the Philly hoagie, which was the perfect warm and hearty choice on a chilly February day. Definitely worth a visit!

Gem of a Vegan Cafe! - Edit
My family and I went to Curran Geal on our trip to Edinburgh yesterday and what a gem of a vegan cafe it is!!
Read moreTasty and wholesome soup which had been freshly made and flavoursome vegan toasted ciabattas and flat breads, all at a great price.
The deli items on sale are great too and there are a selection of plants to buy, which add to the cosy feel of the cafe. Also, the lady who runs the cafe is extremely friendly, making a fuss of our little dog, giving her treats. A gem of a find!
Pros: Tasty wholesome food, Good price, Lovely atmosphere
