Wouldn’t have known they had vegan ice cream (vanilla chocolate or swirl) if not for HappyCow! Server was super knowledgeable about the many dips and toppings that were vegan. 11 bucks for a regular cone w chocolate dip is certainly steep, but you can’t put a price on the feeling of being a kid at Dairy Queen😄

They have a pretty impressive amount of toppings that are vegan despite the fact that they only have two flavors of vegan soft serve. Their staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating to dietary concerns generally. We got an Oreo "snow blitz" and a chocolate/vanilla swirl in a waffle cone with sprinkles. they assured us that both the waffle cone and sprinkles are vegan, but I neglected to ask about confectioners glaze in the sprinkles. Overall it was a good experience though it was a little bit pricey.

Great vegan soft serve but super expensive! - Edit
We loved the ice cream and the experience of going to a kind of iconic location but paying at least twice as much for our ice cream seemed a little extreme. We will come back maybe once a summer but it’s not worth it otherwise. Super delicious, though! I hope they get their prices in line with what they should be.

Read moreThe price for regular ice cream small is $5.76 (estimated). So it’s a little pricier for the vegan ice cream and you have to say vegan when ordering because they sell regular ice cream. It is tasty and the Oreo Snow Blitz was delicious. It’s just like a DQ Blizzard.

Fun, busy family-owned retro ice-cream stand in the heart of Lincolnwood, IL, serving vegan soft-serve ice-cream! Use this base to create cones, shakes, banana splits and more. Many of the toppings are vegan such as oreo, chopped peanuts, etc. just ask the friendly and helpful staff.

The day we went (Easter Sunday) the soft-serve machine wasn't working properly for cones but they were able to do shakes. The prices here are not cheap but you are getting a higher-quality, better tasting product and supporting a wonderful small business!
