Big portions - Edit
I like this place because you can make your choice in peace since you order with a QR code. I've tried two of their pastas and they are just fine, nothing special but the portions are big so you won't be hungry after eating here.

Read moreWe found ordering via the QR code confusing, we would've preferred to be able to order direct from staff as selecting vegan wasn't particularly clear, especially as the translation over to English wasn't smooth.
The waitress did however clarify our order once it was submitted to ensure it was vegan friendly.
We enjoyed watching the food being made, it's quite a good system they have and all made fresh to order.
The food was nice and decent portions, but not very authentic and quite bland, eg, lacking garlic/herbs, thankfully the pot of fresh basil on the table helped flavour it up a bit when we added a couple of leaves to our food.
Pros: Good location , Nice staff but it's all a bit rushed
Cons: The ordering system via QR codes can be confusing , Very little human interaction

Seeing other reviews mentioning vegan cheese is surprising to me - as I did not see it as an option, though that might be on me. I went for pasta then, since I thought they didn't have vegan cheese, and it was pretty good, and actually fairly affordable. Options that can be made vegan are properly marked and with the options you will get the prompt "make it vegan?"

Good place to eat out, very affordable prices, cheaper compared to many other places in Groningen. Vegan options are limited but for a selection of foods you can check the "prefer vegan" / "liever veganistisch" option.

A cheap Italian place - Edit
This place sells extremely affordable antipastas, pastas and pizzas. The vegan options are limited but I always get the Pomodori Pasta which is excellent (costs only around 5.40). You can also pick some fresh basil from plants on the table. Recently they included vegan cheese, which can be obtained for free and is actually quite delicious. Good place for a quick meal.

Wanneer je aangeeft vegan te willen eten zijn alle gerechten mogelijk met vegan kaas en tomatensaus i.p.v. roomsaus. Het was lekker maar niet bijzonder.
