Vegetarian bakery with vegan options - Edit
This was a good option for snacks inside the train station. There were only a few vegan options though when I went, but a few is better than none. If you are a Shinkansen passenger, you may need to ask for a pass to get into the part of the station where this is, so, if you're in a hurry, you'd probably want to skip this.

Great fruit and walnut bread - Edit
In my experience, breakfast is the hardest meal to find in Japan. This bakery had a delicious fruit and walnut bread that could be bought to eat as breakfast, or saved for a snack later on in the day.

Nice bread - no desserts - Edit
Stopped by before a shinkansen trip. The store has clearly labeled all items so it’s easy to see which are vegan. Almost everything is vegerarian though, there were no proper vegan desserts for example.
Read moreWe bought some vegan macha bread and cranbarry breadrolls and they were good! Just wish that they had more vegan options, especially sweet ones.

Lots of different vegan breads - Edit
I was very excited to find a bakery in Japan that had clearly marked vegan breads. I bought just about one of everything. Fruit roll. Olive roll. Red bean roll. And lots more. Each one was delicious. Sad they are only in Osaka.
