Holy [censored] unbelievable. Better than any non-vegan donut I’ve ever had. I didn’t really think of myself as a big donut person but these are no regular donuts. A ton of options and super high-quality. I wish I lived closer lol.

I don’t know how they do it, but Donut Friend is hands down the best vegan donut shop around. I’ve tried multiple other donut shops and nothing compares. Their boston cream, salted caramel, and apple fritters are top tier. Even their donut holes are worth the drive. I wish they had a location in San Diego!

I love the traditional chocolate, maple, and Boston Cream. I do try out different flavor when I see some interesting flavors. But most of the time those special and unique flavors are not to my liking.
Read moreDonut Friend offers up so many creative flavors so I decided to get a dozen with two chocolate and a Bavarian Cream. Wow! The Strawberry Lab and Compassion Fruit are Uber delicious. They are now added to my favorites but only from Donut Friend.
I am looking forward to visit downtown location to have some more of their donuts and some ice cream soon.

First of all, I don't know any other place out there where you can custom make your own donuts. Like Gandhi says, "There are as many religions as there are people." I say there are as many donut flavors as there are people.
Read moreMy top favorite signature donuts though are the Strawberry Lab (the most refreshing donut, perfect for summer. Imagine a light and fluffy strawberry shortcake), The Custard Front Drive (the best Bavarian cream filled donut out there. If I was a kid, I would smash my face in this donut and go to town), and the Angry Samoa (although the name of the donut sounds a little shady, it's 100 times better than the girl scout cookie. Oh so decadent with chocolate, caramel, and toasted coconut)
I do wish the vibe and staff was a bit more friendly. Everytime I walk in there, they seem like they're forced donut slaves or something. Regardless, the donuts are bomb and my carnivorous family absolutely loves these donuts too!
Pros: All vegan, They cater and custom make
Cons: Too Expensive, Not the warmest vibe or staff, Long lines but it moves pretty quickly

I can't believe I haven't written a review for these friends yet. We went here on our second day of living here five years ago and return frequently. The donuts are amazing, plentiful with so many choices. If they don't have the one you are salivating for they will do their best to make one for you.

I’ve traveled a lot of the world and have had many vegan donuts... but this is easily the best vegan donuts I’ve ever had. They are perfect in every way. There is no such thing as getting enough donuts when you’re at donut friend.

A fantastic selection of vegan donuts! The Creme Brûlée was our favorite! It wasn't overly sweet and had a light cream in the middle, but the crunchy texture sealed the deal! So yummy! We can't wait to come back and try more! If we were closer we'd be there a lot more! Drove from Westlake Village, but well worth it!

Been coming here for years. This is the best vegan donuts I’ve ever had and I have for sure made my rounds. I have even gotten to the point where I make a donut sandwich here because the ones already made are freaking good enough. BUT if you wanna go next level, my friends have showed me their creations stuffed with vegan ice cream and tons of toppings.

I love the names of the donuts, I love that they have plant based milk for sale to go with your donut like a normal donut shop, and I love that they are all vegan now because when I first went (years ago) there were non vegan options as well. So 10/10 recommend and you can even get a slice of vegan pizza next door.
PS coconut conformity is my favorite 😘

Holy. Smokes. Donuts are my favorite dessert of all time, and really yummy vegan donuts can be few and far between - these blew me away. So delicious, especially the speculoos donut and the lemon poppy seed donut. There were so many I wanted to try, I'll definitely have to go back for more!

These are the best (vegan or not) donuts you will ever eat. Seriously, they are out of this world. The texture is perfect. There are so many options. Each is so flavorful and the combinations are so unique! I wish I lived close enough to eat more often. The xray speculoos is ethereal. My mom loves the apple fritter and she usually hates sweets!

Read moreStaff was super welcoming from the moment we entered. Sharing jokes and was welcoming to help us order more donuts than we needed. My friend and I got two lattes, which were pretty great. Then we also chose four donuts; youth brulee. nutellavision, javabreaker, and strawberrylab.
All were absolutely delish, my fav was the youth brulee. Truly a must when in LA.
