Lots of vegan pizzas!

I had the vegan parmigiana pizza. Dough was delicious, everything about the pizza was great, and we ate outside on a cute street. Lovely lunch.

Favourite Pizza in Edinburgh

I absolutely love the vegan affair pizza. They also have a second vegan option now with butternut squash which is nice too, but vegan affair is my favourite. I love the fluffy, lightly charred dough. It has vegan mozzarella which is (unlike many other vegan pizza cheeses) really, really good!

It's a small place with only about 5 or 6 seats, so they mostly do take away and delivery, but I've been there a few times already and usually managed to find a seat with a friend.

Pros: The vegan affair pizza😄5 stars for this one!, Very friendly staff, Central location on RoseStreet, surrounded by bars

Cons: No guarantee to get a seat, Meat & dairy served

Delicious!

Finally a pizzeria with a good vegan cheese! (Rice based) You can adapt any pizza on the menu to be vegan or build your own so there's loads of choice. Delicious base. My only complaint is they could add more of the vegan cheese to the pizza.

Pros: Lots of options, delicious

Cons: Not a lot of vegan cheese added to pizza

Nice vegan pizza

There are two choices of vegan pizzas here: One with roasted veggies, veg mozzarella and fresh rocket and one with a pumpkin base and roasted pumpkin. The dough is vegan and really nice and soft and there is a nice amount of toppings.

I found the pizza a little pricey (14 pounds for a large one), but this might be normal for Edinburgh

Pros: Nice vegan pizzas, Two choices

Cons: More choices would be better, a little pricey

Decent vegan pizza

They offer a vegan pizza with their own cheese (which is quite good, like a creamy mozzarella). The size of the pizza is very fair even if the price is not low. The pizza is good with vegetables but I found they they put very few vegan cheese on it. The place is small so it is better to take away. The staff was friendly and we were served quickly. More vegan options would be great!

Pros: vegan pizza, homemade vegan cheese, generous portion

Cons: a little pricey, only one vegan pizza, only few cheese portions on the pizza

Credit for vegan offer

So that's how it goes: If you stroll through Rose steet, it's lunch time, you aren't averse to eat pizza and the place isn't stuffed, don't think twice, just go for it!
There is only one vegan pizza on the menu but you can take a vegan margherita and add some toppings (that's what I did). They offer an amazing lunch deal if you take an 10 inch pizza (that's absolutely fine for one person). They have indoor and outdoor seatings, yet it's still a small venue. Many people just take a slice for take away and leave after one minute, but presumably there aren't any vegan slices on display (maybe I'm wrong). Also, please note that they only offer pizza (and salad), no pasta or suchlike.
Friendly, helpful staff and little waiting time.
The pizza was tasty, however, there are two drawbacks: First, the base it too thin. Don't get me wrong, I love thin bases usually, just that one simply cannot support the toppings - disappointingly. Second, the vegan cheese is less than average. You won't persuade anyone who isn't vegan or lactose-intolerant or the like with this cheese. I'm not saying it's really bad, it's not, it's just a bit embarrassing. They do make an effort though, that's something to acknowledge.

Pros: great lunch deal, tasty pizza, central location

Cons: vegan cheese in need of improvement, floppy base, limited space

Delicious pizza and quick service

This place only has the one vegan option for their pizzas (the vegan affair) but it is clearly labeled and delicious. It has vegan cheese, pine nuts, smoked aubergine, rocket and other veggies. Our pizza came out nearly instantly so seems like it would be a good place to go if you're in a rush. Good service, nice staff.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan option , Vegan cheese, Very quick service

Cons: Could be more vegan options

great pizza

it's taken me time to get to eat here. it"s difficult with novo kitchen not far away and offering pasta as well, it's often hard to see past it.Dough is a pizza place with limited seating, offering takeaway also. I was there for lunch and they were doing a good taken out trade, they had a food lunch time deal offering a ten inch pizza and it was working. we opted for the vegan affair, smoked aubergine, red onion, roasted peppers, pine nuts and rocket, with vegan cheese. the staff were really friendly and our pizza arrive after about ten minutes. the pizzas was great, a thin base which I had seen being stretched minutes earlier was really tasty. no shortage of toppings and after finishing I was full, not bloated and left feeling I had something healthy. odd for pizza.Dough is a pizza place, they have a couple of starters and will adapt your pizza for what your requesting, without any hassle if you are in Edinburgh city centre it's really worth a visit.

Pros: staff, vegan cheese, vegetables

Cons: meat
