There's a set menu and a menu that changes daily. Lots of vegan options to choose from. Had the gong bao tofu, roasted zucchini, quinoa with roasted vegetables along with homemade lemonade and ceylon tea. Everything was delicious and the entire meal was only 30 leva.

Simple food, low price - Edit
We ordered coffee, colorful salad, gung bao, chickpea curry, wine (2 glasses), slice of bread and beer. All for 40.90lev. If i had it do it again, i would skip salad (toooo salty, get a soup instead), and order rice with the gung bao and get an extra glass of wine. Excellent service and atmosphere.

Food is okay - Edit
Small vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Sofia city. Nothing glamorous or fancy, just lots of options and good daily menu. They have Sunday all you can eat brunch with cooked meals and salads.

From OK to bad. - Edit
I had to edit this review after eating here for the second time.
Read moreIt is a shame I have to remove two stars, because I liked the service and the place itself.
On my second visit I had the buckwheat pancakes - they were quite bad, filled with what felt like cold napa cabbage salad in oil. Not good.
The almond coconut curry (you have to order rice separately) was just some cauliflower and zucchini sprinkled with curry and grated coconut. Oh, and there were 4 whole almonds as a garnish. No sauce. Not a curry at all.
The rice I ordered as a side was just some cheap watery rice with bad flavour.
Nothing was served hot, just lukewarm
The raw lemon cake was not good either. It had a pasty texture and the flavour wasn't interesting at all.
My original review:
I had the Tuesday menu:
- sunflower tarator
- moussaka
- spinach meatballs with salad and sauce
- ice-cream.
The moussaka and the spinach pâtés would be much better served hot instead of lukewarm.
I especially liked the spinach pâtés and the sauce that they came with.
The moussaka was a bit bland and dry on top.
Because the berries in the ice-cream make it sour, I would either sweeten it a bit more or serve it with a bit of sweet sauce.
The food was 4* yet I give the overall experience 5* because the service was friendly, the ambience "real" and the prices reasonable.
Everything was super low-carb. I would welcome some calories on the plate, so that after eating a 4-course dinner I don't have to leave the restaurant hungry.

Affordable but not impressed - Edit
This restaurant is very tucked away and we were hoping to have uncovered a gem but were underwhelmed by the food. Prices are good, it was very quiet inside and didn’t feel super clean.

Big portions, small prices - Edit
The restaurant is a bit hidden, you have to enter a small shopping center and then take some stairs behind a white door.
Read moreThe atmosphere is very informal, the place is run by a family, they don't speak a great English but the man who I suppose owns the place is welcoming and friendly.
The place is vegetarian but there are really many vegan options.
The portions are big, and the food is simple but very good, when I walked away from there I felt like I was exploding :)
It's not a fancy place, if you look for that then go somewhere else, otherwise you'll find yourself very pleased :)
The prices are ridiculous low compared to the quantity of food you're given.

Up and down and inexpensive with good music. - Edit
A mix of Bulgarian and Generic Anglo-Veg and Pan Asian dishes, with a menu clearly marked with dairy and allergens.
Read moreThere is a wide range of vegan options, including entrees, mains, desserts, drinks and side dishes. I recommend the chili entree if you have a strong resistance to fire - just three pickled chilis on a plate. Whooph. The quality of the meals can vary from day to day and dish to dish. With more consistency and closer attention to the flavouring this place could be very good.
The lighting can be a little dim in the evenings, but I liked the paper lanterns and the children's artworks on the wall. It's a genuine kind of weird. I like weird.
It's also a little hard to find - the entrance is opposite the optometrist, through a door on the left, up the stairs and on the landing next to a bar.
The in-house music may be the best of any vegan restaurant in Europe - rather than playing terrible, irony-optional lounge covers of rock hits, the sound system usually features underground East Coast 90s hip-hop or 70s psychedelic funk. It's a small thing, but I'm appreciative of someone who treats dining music with the seriousness it deserves and plays music they feel passionate about.
Pros: Plays actual real music, decent variety of meals, inexpensive
Cons: Hit and miss quality, hard to find

Neat - Edit
A good place, if you cant/dont want to spend much money on vegan food. Good selection, a bit hit or miss, quality also varies depending on the day. Often really delicious for the price range.😄

Don’t get all the good reviews - Edit
I’m a bit confused about all the good reviews of this place.
Read moreI mean the staff was friendly enough but nothing special. The food was fine, but not that good. A bit too salty imo. They had nice freshly pressed juice though.
The place itself was kinda depressing. Almost no guests, there was one other guy than me. The lighting was cold and not very bright. I didn’t really enjoy eating there.
I think the place could have a lot of potential with a better location and more guests. If they changed the lamps and did something to make a more comfortable/cozy atmosphere it could be a pretty nice place.
I guess there is a chance I just went there on a bad day, but the whole atmosphere was just dead..

Many Choices!! - Edit
Dream House had surprisingly many (vegan) choices. The prices are very fair, some meals taste better than other but that is very subjective. Next time I’m in Sofia, I will definitely go again! It’s a bit tricky to find but as soon as you do, it’s absolutely worth it!

Quite nice and with lots of options - Edit
It's a quiet and peculiar place that has a lot of options and some regional adapted food, which I valued a lot. We had the buffet for lunch and it was good, but I feel the taste will upgrade if the food was warmer (almost everything was cold when we ate it). I can't say if the portions were enough or not since it was a buffet. The staff was a bit rude with us.

Unpretentious but delicious - Edit
Don’t be put off by the dilapidated entrance - admittedly, the restaurant is not housed in a five star building, but the food is well worth a Michelin star or two and when you include the very reasonable prices in the equation, Dream House is firmly my new favourite in Sofia. There is a daily lunch menu and an amazing 12-16 buffet lunch on Sundays - all vegan. Loved the buffet!!!

Yum! Home made-like - Edit
A down-home and relaxed cafe above the main street with street cars and pedestrians passing below - nice to watch from the window. Great menu of vegetarian options, I loved all the herbs in the Bulgarian yoghurt soup there. Some of it is very healthy, some a veggie comfort food type. I loved the details, like the “multi color salad” having ground Lin-seed in it. The entrance is really hard to find. You go in to a hallway between shops, and open a door on the left side to go up a level in a dark stairway. Kinda sketchy feeling, but the door to Dream House takes you to a yummy and comfortable restaurant. Casual.
