Serenity & great breakfast - Edit
Stumbled this place on happy cow and decided to stay for a night. The place is really serene- there’s a beautiful garden with birds and a small stream, and at the edge of it, an area with hammocks and a view to a river. There’s also a refreshing pool, and several dogs and a cat on the hotels’ grounds ;)
Read moreThe breakfast is vegan - we had coffee (with soy milk!), French toast and a fresh fruit salad. Different options everyday.
Also, the crew & owner were extremely nice and friendly and gave us a warm welcoming and a lot of tips for our next destination in Costa Rica.
I highly recommend this place😄

Favorite Place in Ojochal - Edit
We enjoyed our time at El Mono Feliz and wished we had stayed more days. The service is top notch including mobile conceirage service and small touches that make you feel important. Patrick was amazing at giving us recommendations for tours, restaurants, and sunset locations. His service left me wanting more. The vegan breakfasts were fabulous and the conversation such a pleasure. I would HIGHLY recommend the El Mono Feliz as this place has beautiful tropical grounds, gorgeous pool, sweet little wooden bungalows, and is run by heartfelt people. I love it and will come back again on my return to Costa Rica. Thank you for everything.
