Decent vegan options, cool spot - Edit
Has a dedicated vegan section on the menu. Cool vibes, good drinks, and food is decent. Good spot to bring your non-vegan friends and not leave hungry.

Not great - Edit
Love that they have vegan taco choices! But otherwise just underwhelming and overpriced for what you get.

Grateful for the vegan options but this place was disapointing - Edit
Nice atmosphere but food left a lot to be desired and the drinks were very disappointing. Went with a few friends after reading positive reviews so maybe our expectations were too high. We were especially excited about the vegan options.
Read moreExterior seating is well lit with heaters and nice views of the street for people watching. Food orders are placed and paid for inside and then you get your own utensils and water and wait at your table with a number. Service was minimal with food delivered to the the table.
We ordered a variety of food - the taste and presentation was reminiscent of Chipotle. Not anything special, but not bad. The water tasted shockingly AWFUL! My friend got a margarita and said it extremely disappointing and just tasted like a cheap mix. Wouldn't recommend this place.
Free parking lot is a block away if you decide to visit (the parking directly behind the restaurant is $5).
Pros: Vegan section of the menu, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Mediocre food, Poor quality drinks

Vegan options are clearly marked. We enjoyed the patio, with a heater. The sweet potato tacos are so good!

Can’t even have rice… :/ - Edit
Very expensive and our options are limited- can’t even have rice (cooked in chicken broth). Cauliflower option was cold and hard. Had to cover my food in hot sauce to eat it.

Great vegan Mexican - Edit
I've been here several times and noticed the menu has just changed. There seem to be more vegan options now and the menu is organized a little better so those options are more apparent.
Read moreTo start, guests are seated at a table with menus, but must go to the counter inside to order. Remember your table number so they know where to deliver the food.
In the past, I've had the vegan nachos, which are good, but the vegan cheese tends to get a bit gloppy and congealed as it cools, so I try to stay away from that now. Not pleasant to eat after a while. The burrito was great, as was the fried cauliflower. Cauliflower was not overcooked to be soft, but not super crunchy, either. Just right!
The only downside is the cost of the vegan items. We often stop here after the bars as it's close enough to walk!
Pros: Vegan options!, Good portion size
Cons: Can be costly

Great TexMex in PS - Edit
Loved my cauliflower burrito. Juicy and fresh ingredients. Chips on the side we're also really tasty. My friend said her sweet potato was a tad al dente but tacos were still good.

Appreciate the options - Edit
They had vegan nachos, quesadillas, and burritos! I got the quesadilla with sweet potato. It was good but not great. The cheese was all clumped in one spot, and the sweet potatoes were seasoned to be incredibly sweet. I would come here again but would try something else.

I wanted to like it - Edit
I wish I agreed with other reviewers... They try, and that's great! They have vegan options, which is a good start, but the execution needs work.
Read moreI had nachos- there was a TON of cheese piled on top (not Daiya, thankfully- they used Earth Island/Follow Your Heart) and then no cheese under that, which left a pile of chips, loose beans, and huge hunks of barely-seasoned tofu. They were pretty bland, overall. My husband had tofu tacos and found the same thing. I am NOT a person who abides food waste, but we could only eat a few bites of this. Also, the margarita I had was not good- it was SO strong and the flavour (prickly pear) tasted artificial.
Pros: vegan options, patio
Cons: not visually appealing, not tasty, they sprinkle cheese on the chips- beware!

We had all three vegan tacos. Sweet potato was the best. Cadillac Margarita was good too.

Good options - Edit
Vegan food was pretty good. The nachos had daiya cheese which is not my favorite for nachos. It is too gloopy. But the burrito was pretty good and the service was great.

Vegan tacos are fantastic - Edit
Had the El Vigano vegan tacos. There are three options, had the one w/tofu marinated & grilled, corn salsa & salsa verde. You can get corn or floor tortilla for the tacos. I got one of each, both were fantastic. Yes they are pricey at $14.95 and you paying for the location, but they are of great qualify. Also ordered the Fried Cauliflower. Again pricey at $10.95 but again high quality. You need to decide this is a dinner where you aren't worry about the cost. The 'del mar' chipotle sauce they offer w/the cauliflower is not vegan because the cream is not vegan, so they substituted a green salsa sauce which was good. But I spoke w/the manager about this because really this kind of order should have a cream sauce and we discussed ways for them to offer a vegan chipotle sauce and she was open to it. Remember to ask.
Read moreFinally the cocktails were very high qualify. I had the Mixed Berry Margarita 100% blue agave Tequila, fresh lime & juice berry pure ($12.50). Clearly the berry was not just some off-the-shelf garbage and the manager told me the prepare it themselves off-site, freeze it and bring it to the restaurant. So good quality there. Had a second cocktail - the El Corazon 100% blue agave Tequila, blood orange, passion fruit, pomegranate, fresh lime & house mix ($12.50) and was also similar high quality.
Only downer was I asked for no straw and the first cocktail came w/a straw, because even though the person who took my order told the bartender 'no straw', it came w/a straw anyway. As a green-oriented person, I was very upset that this choice to hurt or not hurt the planet w/an unnecessary product was taken away from me, which is why I spoke to the manager in the first place. I suggested they ASK people if they want a straw up front, because otherwise the people who prepare the drinks will habitually put it in all drinks. She understood. We'll see if they change.
Pros: Pleasant spacious outdooor seating on sidewalk, Vegan tacos really tasty, Cocktails high qualify
Cons: Be prepared to spend $$$

Great little place - Edit
Their food is actually quite delicious! Tons of vegan options, a lot more than I was expecting. Had the vegan nachos. It was huge, for 2-3 people.

Good vegan Mexican - Edit
Casual outdoor dining in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. There was a bit of a wait, but we’ll worth it. Vegan options include plant based meat (or tofu) and cheese so you don’t have to strip down your meal. We enjoyed it.

It's okay - Edit
I had the vegan burrito w tofu (you can also choose cauliflower). Not bad really, I've had sooo much worse. It just felt like it was lacking a strong flavor profile overall. Came with chips and salsa. Out of 4 stars I'd give it 3. Maybe other vegan here dishes are tastier!
Read morePros: Some vegan options-burrito, quesadilla, and tacos, Very fast food service once seated, Delish margs
