Diner feel with many vegetarian options - Edit
I wouldn’t say 1/2 the menu is vegetarian but close to it. And easily vegan as they have mayonnaise alternative that they call “tofu spread.” Had the BBQ tofu and it was good. Also had a “cold brew” coffee flight with oatmilk. Menus a little too big but that’s how most diners are.

Vegan menu need I say more? - Edit
After reading about it on here I asked for the vegan menu and was pleasantly surprised - they veganize most of the sandwiches replacing whatever necessary. I had the tofu Reuben and it was delicious. The tofu spread was very tasty. The staff was attentive and friendly and we were able to chat a bit in Spanish with one of the servers. We had the fresh squeezed juices which were pricey but amazing and the drip coffee was served in a pitcher with oat milk on the side. My friend tried to customize something on the regular menu (basically tofu scramble) but it came out covered with a bunch of obviously frozen veg coating the top of it and it was disappointing enough to send it back. Fortunately we had plenty to go around. Overall I would go here again anytime I'm in the area but would caution against trying to customize things extensively in a build your own fashion.

21 options on the vegan menu! - Edit
Delicious! There’s a separate vegan menu that you have to ask for. There are 21 options on it! I had the vegan reuben (on rye) and my dining companion had the vegan tacos (which come with home fries in it!) Very tasty. Nice casual ambiance and friendly staff.

Pleasantly surprised - Edit
I read some of the other reviews on this app, and was unsure..but we still decided to give it a try, and I’m really glad we did! We got the veggie sandwich, tofu Reuben, and veggie burger with fries. Burger was okay, but the Reuben was really good! And the fries were amazing! Made for the perfect road trip meal stop. Staff was also really friendly, which helps when you’re from out of town.

Ask for vegan menu - Edit
Read reviews and was concerned wouldn’t find something, but at the bottom of their menu you will see that you can ask for a vegan menu! They keep it behind the counter but their were close to 20 options. I had the avocado toast on sourdough with cubed tofu as the egg substitute. The place is popular and cozy! If looking for a homemade meal while traveling the 101…check them out!

Only been here once, but would go back. Fun place to eat for a change! Very tasty and substantial veggie burger....for the price would expect something with it like they do with their non-vegetarian burgers.

Vegans Beware - Edit
Just because it says "vegetarian" on the sigh doesn't mean it is. Dairy and mayonnaise bombs everywhere. It's vegetarian food made by non vegetarians- you know the drill. By the time you vegan-ize something it comes out awful, if they even get it right.

Great sometimes! - Edit
Depending on who is working this place can be fantastic! It is a little difficult to turn the dishes vegan, but it is doable, and the food is great if they get it right! Wierd that a vegetarian restaurant doesnt cater to vegans very well. Nobody seems to know what vegan is at this place! LOTS & LOTS of dairy on the menu to have removed to turn things vegan.
